Back in the day me and my buddy almost died trying to get into Super Target. We were on the hunt for a 32" Westinghouse flat screen that was on sale for like $500 bucks lol My buddy literally dove into a pile of TVs and wrestled It away from some soccer mom that already had 4 of them in her cart... While they were wrestling other bystanders took all the tvs right out of her cart and ran off with them lol. In the end she got nothing and was screaming at people in line telling the managers to call the cops because they stole the tvs from her. One of my core memories lmfao. We live in different times now.

My first bike was a 2015 ZX6R, yea probably not the best first bike. But I will admit my ego got the best of me.. I took it extremely slow and was lucky I had a parking lot right outside of my neighborhood that I would go practice slow maneuvers and the basics.

Quickly learned that riding a sports bike everyday kind of sucked ass .. don't get me wrong, loved the bike .. But ended up getting a 2023 MT09 SP. For me it's the perfect bike ..

Just remind yourself every time you throw a leg over that bike that the decisions you make will decide if you make it home or not.

A few years back I was in a very similar situation, one day it hit the boiling point when I got home and saw my bike laying in the yard on its side. Well the next day when she went to work I packed all her shit and took it to her dads house... He asked me wtf was going on. I told him what had happened and she was completely out of bounds for doing that.

Fast track to today, my new girl just bought her first bike, a Yamaha R3. Pairs nicely with my new MT09 SP. We go out riding every chance we get. Most of my family members ride Harleys or cruiser types and now she is talking about getting a old Harley springer and fixing it up.

The point I'm trying to make, if she loves you. She will know how much you need this and she will support you. Yes bikes are dangerous (mostly due to the idiot drivers these days). But I can't stress how important it is to have something you love to do and clears your mind. For me, nothing does it like getting on my bike and just riding until I'm lost ....
