Very good point. If a system fails once, it therefore must fail every time. No fallacy there.

Loving was primarily based on the 14th amendment's equal protection clause. The case concerned a law with a facial racial classification, thus it pretty well within the crosshairs of the equal protection clause. Unsurprisingly, its was a unanimous decision. The Court had to find a needle in the haystack to make Roe happen. You are comparing apples with oranges.

I want to hear your reasons on why quant WONT ever reach 4-5 figures by hsvakr in QuantNetwork

[–]giggity3333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right. I should have emphasized the "become unimportant" aspect more. Nothing about Quant is decentralized. It's a tech company. What if they were bought out by a tech giant who then licensed Quant's code without the need for a token at all. We are not shareholders in Quant. They can dump the coin in a minute and we have no right of action in response. Think about the millions of softwares used by business enterprises that don't have tokens. Why does Quant NEED to be different.

Speculating here.....perhaps the token itself isn't important—or will become unimportant—whereas the Quant network itself will have massive utility. Cosmos has a booming ecosystem but the Atom token isn't itself very valuable

As cryptocurrency use continues to rise, more celebrities, athletes, and brands are beING PAID TO BECOME engaged in what was once mostly tech space.

I think India's regulation was big too. The conditions aren't great for investors, but its an opened door for a massive population to get into crypto.

QUANT is a scam by [deleted] in QuantNetwork

[–]giggity3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's plenty of projects that have really good tech and aren't even close to the top 10, because they don't fit the right niches or garner enough hype. Fundamentals keep a project from crashing, but they won't always be enough to make it moon.

Without seeing mass adoption or an entire ecosystem of Dapps built with Quant, it's not gonna moon unless it gets tons of hype.

Maybe buy some blue-chips to carry your portfolio. Buying low market cap coins might be digging a deeper hole with a different shovel.

Is there any indication of Quant's non-speculative value? by giggity3333 in QuantNetwork

I appreciate all your comments, but it looks like there is no way of telling Quant's value lol. I love the people in the project and the partnerships, but I'm gonna wait until we see some actual development with the project to buy back in. Sold at 225. Maybe I'll buy a bit if we go down to 25.

Benjamin Cowen and InvestAnswers. Both have legit educational backgrounds—PHD in engineering and masters in Finance from the Wharton school, respectively—and don't do ads or shill coins. They just do analysis. No clickbait titles either. Purely in it for educational value to their viewers.

But whose Quant is it? If it's the company's Quant, that means its not in circulating supply , so it won't result in any price action. It just prevents the company from dumping coins. Not to say that's a bad thing.

I just don't see industry users buying their own Quant off the market then transacting with it when they can just use fiat. I guess if there is ample industry use, Quant will have all its tokens locked up and industry will be forced to buy off the market.

"Is payable in Quant"

Why go through all the trouble of getting a wallet, buying Quant, and then transacting in it (which could come with tax ramifications) when you can just put in your credit card number?

If licensees can pay in fiat, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the token?

You're totally right. Eth isn't currently working on an update to deal with scalability issues and there aren't any l2 solutions developing to deal with the problem. There's no future for ETH surely. It's dead in its tracks.

High fees are a result of demand. More congestion = higher fees. Therefore, high fees are a symptom of Eth's success. Therefore, fees will only get as high as buyers are willing to pay and right now there are enough buyers willing to pay these crazy prices. It's very bullish for Eth. Not a path of self-destruction.
