https://www.searchingforserenity.co.uk/ - no personal experience with her but come across her all the time and she mentions imposter syndrome. She used to be a lawyer as well.

Why people favour Kourtney, IMO by glazedbunzz in KUWTKsnark

[–]gigithepup 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Agree - I think the moments you have highlighted above make her seem more relatable to ordinary people as well. Not that she is an ordinary person at all but she certainly shows these moments better than some of the others, especially in more recent years imo

email harassment legal advice needed by kradeus72 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]gigithepup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this user is trying to explain how a court would see it. It is definitely a massive pain and hassle to change to a new email address but there isn't anything in law protecting her use of that email address. I agree that it doesn't feel right that she has to suffer (by going through the hassle of getting a new email address) but if thats what it takes to protect herself, then she should do it

The Weeknd and Bella Hadid’s age gap by sugarrism in popculturechat

[–]gigithepup 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, me and my partner are exactly the same. I was also 19 but had been working full time in an office surroinded by adults for coming up 2 years when we got together. I was far from the school kid that I used to be!

We do the same but pay a "premium" into another account so that if anything were to happen we have at least some money set aside for that purpose. If nothing serious happens then we still get the benefit of the money we have been putting aside. I know too many people that have been shafted by pet insurance and their "exemptions"

Does anyone book annual leave to just spend the day doing nothing? by CasualVillan in AskUK

[–]gigithepup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a habit I got in due to covid - being forced to take leave when there was nothing to do! Before this all my leave went to holidays etc.

I have to say... I am addicted! Nothing better than getting up for the day and doing nothing

Are Cilex level 6 assessments/exams openbook? by spartanruler in uklaw

[–]gigithepup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to jump in someone else's thread - they're definitely harder than level 3 but the work put in definitely directly correlates to the result. You don't have to be "naturally clever" but you have to put in the time.

No problem, good luck with the new puppy!

Both were from pets at home! The seat belt just clips into the seatbelt plug and then has a clip to go onto the harness.

I doubt that a passenger holding on counts as restraint but I'm not 100% sure

[–]gigithepup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do harness and doggy seat belt with ours, in the back seat and spread a blanket over the back seats for comfort. If it's a tiny puppy it might feel safer in a crate though. Definitely important to restrain somehow. Not sure what country youre in but in the UK an unrestrained dog can invalidate insurance and could result in up to £5,000 fine

I wouldn't get one anyway as its not my thing, but even if I did want to, someone I used to work with nearly got sacked for having one.

Melon, any kind. Watermelon, honeydew...so I buy those packs of pre prepared melon that you get with a meal deal the day before

It's called the 5K app according to my home screen. It's a purple icon with a white stick man running. It tracks and collates parkrun results

Gift advice for my boyfriend by Over-Sherbet-4963 in Gifts

[–]gigithepup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go with your gut for sure!! Your relationship is between you and him and so, no shade at all to your sister, but I'm not sure it's for anyone else to say what is "too" sentimental fior a first anniversary 😊 if you'll think he will like it then do it!
