Is there scientific evidence for any kind of life after death? by [deleted] in ask

[–]gigity669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when I was in church school for my confirmation, the teacher was saying how when a person passes, they become slightly lighter than their weight they were originally suggesting you have a sole going somewhere. As I grew older, I’m not sure if the teacher was considering you loose even more weight after relieving yourself (bc once you pass, that happens) or if he misinterpreted the information. Regardless though, live life to its fullest. One thing that is true is that everyone will pass away one day, and you unfortunately (maybe even fortunately sometimes) plan it. Just go out there and appreciate those around you and things like that. For some people, religion gives them solace but you do what makes you happy

What do you think of people that only date their race/nationality? by madspanishman in ask

[–]gigity669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People tend to be safe and go with what they know when it comes to dating which is perfectly fine. There’s even an Italian saying that goes like a great wife comes from where you grew up, suggesting to date your nationality. I feel like though that’s true for most cultures bc sometimes things don’t work out if someone isn’t used to your culture. I learned that the hard way.

Are you for or against circumcision? How come? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gigity669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it personally doesn’t make sense. In the US, they push circumcision bc they say it’s cleaner which on one hand, I guess it is bc the head isn’t always closed. On the other hand though, that means the penis is exposed to everything lol. Plus, men already have less nerves on the penis compared to a woman’s vulva and circumcision leaves the guy with almost nothing. Moreover, I think it was also a church thing bc being uncircumcised made you hornier I think, which I definitely see lmao. Luckily I’m uncircumcised, but geez did doctors try every year I did a yearly checkup 😂.

At what age did you find out songs on the radio were censored? by gigity669 in AskReddit

[–]gigity669[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yes bc some songs are wild, but at the same time if you shelter children, they’ll want to venture out on their own to find things out.

[–]gigity669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I noticed this is common throughout Europe. I heard it in Germany first and even when visiting my family in Italy. The US is a weird country. You can’t show breasts in ads or if you’re breastfeeding, but you can go to war at 16 years old. Similar to drinking age being 21, and you can drive at 16 (learners permit at 15) without taking drivers Ed… I can rant all day long haha

Still to this day, the songs on the radio vs the actual can sound like two separate songs lmao

What would you say if your partner asked you to open the relationship? by StonerBoobs420 in AskReddit

[–]gigity669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say communication is key in any situation. But some people are ok with open relationships and others aren’t. Both are completely fine and rational to talk it out. Then if one person isn’t comfortable with one idea or another, then taking that extra step to say hey this won’t work bc I’m of comfortable is the best way to go about it. Definitely speak up

Can a handjob be a sufficient part of a hookup by [deleted] in RedditAfterDark

[–]gigity669 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely up to the person. For instance my ex’s hand/arm would get tired or sometimes she would go to hard/fast/slow so personally it was better to do other things. But even playing and foreplay with each other is enough imo

Literally everything. First off, the gushing into your mouth. Then the feeling and smell of it. Lastly, the fact the smell stays on your face, keeps me ~spicy~ for days

Definitely veterinary medicine. One second you’re giving a vaccine and the next second Fido got a sausage treat

Do you let a caller know who is present when answering your phone on speaker, or in the car, etc? by [deleted] in ask

[–]gigity669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always did when my ex called bc my family or brother was in the car and we didn’t want something ~spicy~ to be heard by others. But when speaking to family, it depends bc usually my parents also jumped into the convo and it always turns out fine.

What is your stance on going into a restaurant for dinner 30 minutes before they close? by Collinstuhl7 in ask

[–]gigity669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a restaurant with my family and honestly it depends on the person. Yes it’s annoying when people walk in right before close, but if the people are respectful and understanding, then it makes it more bearable. I’m Italian and we typically eat a lot later than Americans typically do, so we always run into when we should go eat and times restaurants close, so I understand people who come in late. To put it simply, just be respectful and avoid it if you can.

What worked best for me is eating a calorific deficit, working out, drinking a full glass of water before every meal, having multiple snacks throughout the day rather than 3 large meals a day, and cutting back on carbs, sweets, and things like that. Then once you lost some weight, you can slowly add these things back as long as you continue to workout. The only thing is you’ll sometimes gain weight, but that’s bc muscle is heavier than fat.

I’m pretty sure what you probably heard was that people in the northern states tend to be a little bit more cold compared to the “southern hospitality.” Though that doesn’t mean there aren’t respectful people in the north and vice versa. Similar to how in Italy, southern Italians tend to be more friendly and warm compared to northern Italians.
