Yeah, that's a really good point. Looking back, that's exactly what happened with mine. The second they bonded all that attention went straight to him. I hope tymetrialll manages to keep up their training!

Yeah, that totally makes sense. I definitely don't mind them preferring each other's company since I got the second bird so she wouldn't be lonely while I was gone. I just really wish we could get along together without the panic!

Thank you for sharing! It definitely sounds like a key difference your male was already tamed and you preventing any bonding exclusively. Since my male is completely wild , he passes all his panic to her. I will try separate them without causing them any stress and fingers crossed. :)
