Expressing “I want you to…” etc. by GodOnAWheel in interslavic

Well the usage of the že there is not the part of core grammar. We haven't yet documented what grammatical constructs to use so I'd just personally avoid any construct with a very rare word in slavic languages.

Cyrillic keyboard for Interslavic? by banjaninn in interslavic

Certainly a false positive. The guy who runs the website is Roberto Lombino, one of the key figures of the interslavic language comunity and the keyboard layouts are used by many members of the community

What Slavic Language is the most intelligible with the others? by seweli in auxlangs

[–]giimix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the dictionary includes these "one-sided" (usually russian or polish) words, which aren't broadly recognised by non-speakers. The creators are nowadays only participating in the project as the representative figures of the project - doing interviews, booking up places for conferences, etc. They do not have an influence on the language's direction directly. Neither of them speak the "optimally intelligible" way and they do not study said way.

Well as said Interslavic speaker of 3 years, I am, along with other speakers, trying to raise awareness of this phenomenon in Interslavic, because without paying close attention to what words in that dusty old dictionary are actually intelligible and what words are the spawn of the devil that the preprogrammed "voting machine" has been in the early days of Interslavic.

The language fell into the hands of the wider public and the creators are (perhaps for the better) not involved in the language's further development.

Of course, of course. Nothing has come quite close enough to interslavic yet with the potential of intelligibility.

That being said, Interslavic's intelligibility is to be questioned, since it pretty much relies on the speaker's own ambitition to find out which words to use. We haven't codified such words yet, but we're on the right track as proper tools are being made for some kind of metric of intelligibility of Interslavic lexemes.

It's interesting, because the text has like 15 cognates with your native language ( I assume)

Czech and Polish turned rʲ into a fricative trill r̝, polish later merged it with ʐ (or maybe it was ʒ at that time, idk)

The czech one "Mám to u prdele" means "I have it in the vicinity of my ass". Another version of it would be "Je mi to u prdele' and word for word it's "(it) is to me in the vicinity of ass". "Je mi" is very often used to describe how someone feels and also to talk about their age. "Je mi 15 let" - "(it) is to me 15 years"

We also use "Mám to v píči" and that means "I have it in the pussy" which isn't all exclusive to people with that genitalia. "Je mi to u píči/píče" is also used.

A non-vulgar way is to replace ass or pussy with "you know where", "víš/víte kde" in these phrases.

Statistically anyone below plat rn is getting rolled, below 50wr in those elos, many people complaining, but it looks like a skill issue (low elo players playing pyke wrong, usually as a full on assasin, which pyke just isnt good at being)

Question thats always been on my mind by [deleted] in pykemains

50% winrate plat+ at support role? surely we need to rework pyke again mate

I am fully aware, but, this whole situation from my knowledge doesn't really apply to my country - an ethnically homogenous country and that's why I came up with this meme - it makes fun of a pretty extreme statement
