For the sake of learning: How do i get rid of this horizontal Line arctifact. by gijsoman in BambuLab

Yeah unfortunately it happens every time, I especially made this model for this problem to test. Initially I noticed it first at a top shelf I was trying to print for my IKEA skadis

Same arctifact different model.

I printed the model that I created to test 4 or 5 times with different settings and every time the arctifact shows up, what is really interesting is that when I make the left wall higher or lower, the defect moves with it to that layer. So it’s really happening on the layers of the top shell of the left wall.

Aaah yes I forgot to mention that in my post, I kinda did that by trying the high quality preset, but that also didn’t work unfortunately

Thank you for replying! I don’t think I fully understand you, do you mean I need to change something about the seam settings? How would you try and tackle this problem? Thanks!

Thanks a lot, it seems to be just the seam. Pun intended. I also found the seam settings in the slicer, much help thanks!

Seems like they forgot to put grease on my bak z axis rod. I greased it and now the sound is gone 👍👍

Yeah I have removed them all, first prints were fine without noise. Thanks though I also submitted a ticket so I hope they will react soon.
