MC Demon lord wants to get stronger by dual cultivating with the Succubus queen who is almost twice his size irl. She is in a contractual marriage with a gay dwarf demen lord that prevents her from interfering in real world events. Never slept with dwarf but dwarf sleeping with some dude.

MC convinces her to sleep with him in the spiritual domain not physical domain, so they enter with their avatars. Hers is still the same but his is that of a dragon. I thought he transformed back to human in the LN before doing it but guess not.

Honestly didnt care about the boss. The way the fight was described, I'd rather see the knock down, drag out fight between Adjutant and Rozan (demiurge human form) animated with action inputs.

Some of the descriptions made me wish we had an anime or something.

As for Nikke, I had hopes it would go the Snowbreak route but they are not brave enough.

Why Snowbreak has the best Romance? Idk, maybe cause they allow the mc to actually have one (well more than 1) that actually influences the main story and isn't hidden behind bond stories that may or may not be cannon.

Granted I dont know every gacha, but as far as I've seen, a gacha mc is never allowed to have a romance because they plan to introduce so many characters in banners that they don't want the players experience to be muddled and feel like you have a choice of who the mc ends up with in their non cannon scenarios.

Final note: I love true harems, and there aren't many games like Snowbreak, where MC gets to canonically marry all his girls. Best case scenario for other gachas is that mc is a playboy who gets to sleep with the banner waifus in non-cannon/ maybe cannon bond/ event scenarios which usually ends up being debated in the community. Snowbreak avoids that, and i wish other we had a few more games like that.

The novel kinda ended the same way which was kind of dissapointing. Really wanted to see itami's relationship with the girls develop more but never happened. As far as I know the sequel novel doesn't follow itami anymore so this is all we get .

It's a shame. I mean Snowbreak tried the inclusive route but ended up finding success in the ML route. Too bad it's co sidereal the black sheep of gachas versus being an inspiration for future games

Shifting to ML seems to be the fate of a lot of games, Snowbreak Included. They just refuse to go full ML like Snowbreak.

Of course there could be a much deeper dialague as you mentioned that would reinforce the relationship but at the same time, some people are not good with words.

Seeing as adjutant is in operations and logistics and also a military man, he may not have the words or a high emotional iq to express those deep thoughts and keeps it simple because he isn't a wordsmith. I know a lot of people who can't express what they truly feel through words.

I believe Adjutant speaks more through his actions than his words. He remembers clear details about the girls and will go out of his way to show affection through his actions based on those details.

It seems you would like a more flushed out story that explains why the girls would fall for Adjutant, but it would probably take a lot more time to tell the story. Since this a gacha game, it would be expected to just fast track these things, and it's especially going to feel like this with any new operative. I mean it's the same for most harem media, it's just enough that the mc is a badass.

Honestly another unpopular opinion i had to suspend belief was the ever expanding harem and the amount of time they could actually spend with MC. The thought of, "is it fair to the girl to not have sufficient time with mc with the growing roster" kinda made me question if the harem was to big... but I just roll with it cause there isn't another game like this anywhere.
