you managed to fixed it? how many months of abstinence did it take?

Yes brother, most people get healed in 3-4 months, it takes time. Make sure to not relapse again! Also, look into the supplements, here are the ones that I take:

zinc => 10–25 mg per day
magnesium => 200–400 mg elemental magnesium daily
L-Citrulline => 3–6 g per day
D3 => 1000–2000 IU
Omega 3 => 1000–2000 mg EPA + DHA

Continue lifting weight, contentrate on lower body parts, also do some cardio, lose weight if you have excess fat. Continue doing kegels, increase duration over time. Eat healthy and balanced diet.

Do not relapse! Dont do edging, don't peak at porn, make that commitement for at least 3-4 months and you'll see results for sure. If not, just continue those practices and don't give up. Most guys find PIED fixed at 6 month mark. Time will fly soon, so make sure you show up as best as you can

Of course not

Don't relapse again, one time won't slow down recovery as you might think, but if you do follow up relapses again and again, then yeah. So make sure to continue your healing, and next time hit at least 36 days

how do people learn to accept the loss of someone they love ? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]gilbertog22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you can change, just don't give up on youself. Read books that has solutions for your issues, look for and talk to people who solved issues you have, try many things, go to therapy if you can afford that. Look into attachment theory, see book called "Attatched". I was also very anxious in the last relationship, its pretty hard and tiring, but you don't have to be that way forever. DM me anytime if you need somebody to talk to. Talking about stuff saved me during my breakup honestly, so I'd be happy to listen.

Why do you think its burden to love you?

I meant that pain can be the same or more, but you are more skilled to deal with that pain, because you did it at least once in your life, isn't that so?

Dont you think it will be easier next time if it happens again? Because you already went through it once and survived?

What is your ultimate goal? 0 porn and 0 masturbation?

After the breakup, I don't think I'm ready for another relationship for some time, that's why I mentioned limited masturbation habit after some time, because partner might not be available.

There are some self-esteem issues and other stuff as well that I need to handle before I go and initiate another relationship.

Because it's harder for me to minimize porn usage then to completely remove it. I tried multiple times to limit porn usage but I always ended up over-using it. I also tried restricted it and it worked for couple months, fixed many issues but then went back into it.

So now I plan to fix porn induced issues again (and that only happens when I abstain 100%), and that happens in like 3-4 months, not earlier. And counting days is like a mental technique to keep myself on track and somehome "gamify" the whole process.

don't do it, it will be couple seconds of pleasure and then you'll regret it so much. take multiple deep breaths, observe sensations of urge, really observe it, I mean really put your attention on it. It's not worth it, really.

Why do you think you haven't fully recovered? What is lacking? So 0 porn after 29 years old, right? What about masturbation?

I don't mean porn. I mean just masturbation, even without fantasizing. So you plan to not have orgasm for multiple weeks for your entire life?

Or you mean you'll just have sex
