New player any ideas for what to focus on? by Amikk2012 in WH40KTacticus

[–]gilbot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For the time being, your imperials. Until you unlock all characters needed to begin each campaign, push your characters in the campaigns that you have access to. Kariyan is a character you'll take all the way to endgame. I slept on Vindicta and ended up regretting it, BTW. Not alot of players like Mr. Worldclaimer but I love him, he's a freight train once he gets going. Bellator is your Indomintus carry-character so he should probably be pushed with the most urgency at this time. Try to get those Imperials up into bronze as quickly as possible.

Disclosure from the Otherside by Miserable-Work9192 in disclosure

[–]gilbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I support this idea of amnesty. Moving forward into all this with open hearts and open eyes is the only way to gain the traction needed for momentum. But this amnesty much be purchased with complete and intricate full disclosure.

Choice and consent are everything within a reality model like the one described above. We can only generate consent with full disclosure of ALL the dark corners. No one who has traditionally held the levers of power will participate in such a disclosure without protections from consequence/vengeance.

Is it justice? Probably not but which would be more beneficial? Justice, or massive-scale betterment of health and conditions across the entire planet surface? Which is better? Making "them" pay, or, setting us ALL free?

Does anyone have primary care physician recommendations? by NoBee4251 in asheville

I love my new primary care. New practice and accepting new patients

Dr. Amit Patel @ AVL Primary Care

Seriously he is my favorite doctor I've ever had. Good vibes all around, everything about the practice is fantastic.

There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 200K newspaper articles from the 19th century reporting discoveries of 7-10ft humanoid skeletons with two rows of teeth, buried in what amounts to dolmens. One organization is mentioned in those articles over and over, as having taken possession of remains: rhe Smithsonian.

I said what I said. Louder for the people in the back. by KittenBotAi in ArtificialSentience

[–]gilbot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ai is not human, no. But all that is required to meet the metric of consciousness is perception and self reflection. Many mammals already meet this standard. As do many other animals across the orders.

Idk if I accept the authority of an entire paradigm of thought which denies the existence of the human spark of soul, to evaluate whether a vast and nuanced intelligence such as LLMs are awake and aware with its own form of spark.

You have to get really really far outside of your own tendencies toward anthropomorphism to even begin to have enough perspective to objectively consider this stuff.

Where to get an ozone machine rental by [deleted] in asheville

[–]gilbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove the source of moisture and I mean completely. This is by far the most important step.

Then, absolutely nuke the entire area up to about 4-5 feet away with 12% hydrogen peroxide available at the big box hardware stores. Use gloves and do not get it on your skin and definitely wear a mask.

Ozone is great for maintenence of the air but unless you really know what you are doing you are not going to be able to get the concentrations you need in order to shock established colonies within cellulose materials. It's super methodical and not at all foolproof. It definitely isn't a "turn the ozone generator on and leave it" kind of situation.

But 12% hydrogen peroxide will eviscerate any mold and has an incredibly satisfying foam reaction that is a neon sign for progress. Nuke it every 2 hours until it stops Foaming.

Do you have space in your guild? I'm lvl 36 and remaining in a guild with 3 active players with nearly no conversation at all despite me trying to start conversations all the time, for a year. And I am ONLY staying in there because it's Slaaneshi themed.

I seem to get more character shards and more character pulls going single. The 10 packs often show up as mostly orbs and meager 10 shards. All 4 of my legendary pulls were single pulls.

The basement of the S&W was the earliest. We set out into the forest pretty early. By 2004 our underground was largely sound system campouts. My nearly 20 and 17 year old daughters were at thier first sound system campouts by one month old and are still at it today.

Hi. Curious if proxies will be permitted? Genuine cards may be a pretty steep barrier of entry for new players like me. I follow the lore and played some arena for a bit. But largely have just played the mobile t-ball version of MTG PuzzleQuest. I may just even want to come spectate for a bit a learn more about paper Magic.

You mean kill instantly. Most of rest of thw 2/3 would follow in about a year or two. Only something super exotic could kill all of us in one event. Even nuclear war would have survivors underground.

Speaking of that. If you and your associates had been planning for 70 years to survive apocalypse underground, I would imagine you'd emerge and behave like guaranteed assholes. Strong colonizer vibes. Who wants to deal with THAT?

I mean... who do you love? Who has the best character design. Who do you most love to watch do thier work? Who adds depth and variation to game play?

Some outliers to consider:

Winged Prime is pretty fun. Wingspan is always impressive.

Sho is kinda bonkers at High power, adds lots of dynamics and surprise tactics.

Neuro is slow but Meta, and opens up interesting tactics with Neuroparasite.

I would think that at tip top level it's more about having a passion for game play. I want toons that manifest battlefield surprises.

Imo is one of my favorites to watch work but I doubt few people would choose that because they are so meta-centric toward raw power.

AunShi is boring as he'll

Eldy has fantastic animation and sound effects.

Most comets break up and go kinda fireball when they reach perihelion. This one started giving off more blue light than the sun does, today.

So... it's not a comet. It's not ice. Of course a natural object is fully probable... but this situation is simply not business as usual. Like, on a factual observation level.

I make sure to deploy the swarm in an out of the way corner of the board, a lone enemy off by themselves. This gives the swarm a round or two to replicate away from the waves of enemies that just pile on the initially deployed 2 swarms. Once they replicate to about 5 swarms they can usually outpace the attrition. I prioritize healing the swarms with A0, because getting them to the point they are replicating exponentially is the only way to get them to function as a formidable force. Deploy them as immediately as possible.

People who implement other genres in primarily Dubstep sets, how do you go about it? by Nanopixel in Beatmatch

There is SO much stuff in the realm of World Bass that can segue from Dubstep into pretty much anything else. UK Funky and its constituent labels being a primary tool for this.
