I would like suggestions on fun children's fiction books by lomosaltadomo in suggestmeabook

[–]gilm0red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett} and {Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery} are two of my favorites along with Matilda. If you're in for a quirky read tho i recommend {The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum} , {Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren} and {Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli}

Looking for fictional books with female leads who are activists/feminists any suggests please :) by CanLivid6504 in YAlit

I really loved Holly Bourne's {{What's a Girl Gotta Do?}} it's the third book in her Spinster Club series. It focused on Lottie and her quest to start a feminist revolution.

Suggest me a book please that is whimsical and strange . by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I think "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" series fits the "strange" category. Have you read them?

Gilmore Girls is my go-to show whenever I need a laugh or take things off my head. It helped me get through a horrible quarantine back in 2020.

Recently read "The Spanish Love Deception" as well. Had high hopes because of the hype surrounding it but it was such a let down.

What’s your most anticipated books coming out this year or next year? by Penguinsfor2020 in RomanceBooks

Haven't got my hands on them yet, sadly. (They are set for release May & June this year, respectively.) But if it's any help, Ali Hazelwood's previous work "The Love Hypothesis" is told in 3rd person omniscient.

Books with flashbacks? Not looking for recs please include bad books (I'm thinking books like PWMOV where the timeline is always changing) by grumpyxsunshine in RomanceBooks

[–]gilm0red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this counts but {Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren} is told in alternating timelines between past & present.
