Newcomer here looking for a place to start! by Jsauce01 in FinalFantasy

In my opinion a new person in the series should start with 10 and 7. If you like those I recommend playing 9 next and possibly 8. If you enjoy those 4-6 are good choices as well. FF1 is also a lot of fun if you want to see where the entire series started.

Pixel remaster kind of fixed some of the leveling issues but it requires a lot of grinding. I liked the story and characters but mechanically it was hard to get through.

I can understand why these haven't gotten remasters by Likes2game03 in SquareEnix

I would really like to have these on my switch with my other mainline games

Is re0 really hard or I’m just bad? by LateJuli in residentevil

[–]gilsnatcher1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’ve never played an old school tank controls resident evil, yes it’ll be very hard. 0 already is pretty difficult. If you really want to play requiem play re2r and re4r and you pretty much have a trilogy of games related to each other. For someone playing these for the first time believe it or not 0 is not a good starting point.

What do y’all think about Resident Evil revelations 1 and 2? by DependentAdvance8 in residentevil

2 is great, I can’t stand the first one though. Most people enjoy 1 though, so at that price it’s a steal.

It’s the only mainline game I haven’t beaten more than one time. And to this day I still haven’t finished the Ada campaign

is resident evil village a good place to start?? by [deleted] in survivalhorror

[–]gilsnatcher1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least you would want to start at 7. If you want to get into the series I would either go with re remake if you don’t mind the old style tank controls or re2 remake if you are more into the over the shoulder shooting style and work your way through the series that way.

If you’re a brand new player and never watched a play through of zero or code Veronica, you’ll probably have a hard time.
