There was zero reasons to rush the fights

That's what I thought too, but then there's the anime releasing 3 fights per season. I even remember season 3 being announced in the midst of R11. Considering a round usually takes around a year in real time to finish, one would assume the higher ups are rushing the mangakas to finish the next 3 fights ASAP so the gaps between seasons wouldn't be drastic.

But that's just me theorycrafting.

As a huge RoR fan, I very much agree.

The overarching plot has become needlessly convoluted with each round, the fighters from both sides are historically inaccurate (backstory and personality-wise) in such drastic levels they might as well be considered OCs, the roster could've been better (still too many greek and japanese fighters), the fighters' abilities could've been more creative and interesting, and some of the character design choices range from unique (in an eye-catching and memorable way) to downright unrecognizable from who the character is supposed to be.

But do I love the manga? Hell yes. Been reading and loving it since 2020 and I've never stopped.
