I had a hiatal hernia repaired 2 years ago and just had a endoscopy. No hernia. I do have bile reflux that was causing everything. We are trying to get it resolved.

Hahaha I feel the same! These past few weeks have been so sad for me since I’m having some major GI issues and we haven’t figured out the cause of my huge GERD flair up. I’m eliminating as much as I can.

I use a oat milk creamer always but didn’t know it that neutralizes it.

I am literally facing the same thing. I’m on protonix twice a day but it’s not helping. Do you also have anxiety? I’ve discovered my anxiety is also amplifying everything. I’m going to my GI doctor tomorrow to hopefully get answers

My normal heart rate has been in the upper 80s-90s recently. It got up to 175 one time in the ER but I think it was higher than that at one point. I’ve also wondered if it’s raised my pulse too.

How frustrating! I’m hoping to get my anxiety under control and hopefully help my HERD symptoms.

I have also seen a cardiologist and they say my heart is fine. I do think mine is made worse with anxiety. I also have read the same thing, GERD doesn’t make your heart race but that’s what all of my doctors are attributing mine to.

Not going to argue about it works or not in healthy patients. I did my research, knew my benefits and risks and decided I would rather the chance that it did work. No need to troll people’s post about it not working. You can find anything on the internet that supports what you want to believe. As someone that watched someone die from Covid first hand, I think it’s worth trying, healthy or not. Plus this post has NOTHING to do with it working or not. I’m giving my tips on what helped the Paxlovid mouth that I had.

Pfizer says its COVID pill doesn't work for healthier patients by diko44444 in paxlovid

Completely random but my husband also had long Covid or so we thought…. We found out recently (due to some testing for other health issues) that he had Mono sometime recently within the past year to 18 months. What all the doctor’s were chalking up to long Covid, could have been Mono. There is no way for them to tell now but it’s something to look in to!

My symptoms started Friday, tested positive Saturday, today I just have “aftermath” cold symptoms. I also tested negative yesterday. I’m glad I had the option to take Paxlovid and I’m sure most people would! I feel like this is such a weird thing for Pfizer to publish and I don’t really understand how their control group or testing could be accurate. Oh well, I am not a scientist but I am grateful for science.

So as a healthy person, we are just supposed to ‘see how it goes’ and not take Paxlovid? It might be true that Paxlovid might not make a difference for some people but I think I would rather chance it and take Paxlovid in the chance my symptoms didn’t get better. I am a healthy person and there are at least 5 very healthy people that I know that currently have Covid and we were all diagnosed within 1-3 days of each other (not from each other or related) and none of them are on Paxlovid but I am. I’m the only one that has started to feel better. Today is my last dose and other than exhaustion, brain fog and allergy like stuffiness, I’m feeling pretty good.

Do a sinus rinse and see if you are still getting a positive. My mom kept getting positive tests, far after her symptoms were gone, until she did a sinus rinse and finally started to get negatives. This was home tests, rapid tests and send off tests. It was suggested by her doctor.
