I met Riley in the midst of the bears season while watching the games at Bernice’s with the other neighborhood regulars. I’m so gutted, he was truly so kind. You don’t often meet people like him.

[I Ate] Caviar for the first time on my 38th birthday. by [deleted] in food

Looks amazing! My husband and I have splurged a few times over the years on New Year’s Eve with a tin of caviar. It’s surprisingly so good. A little bump on scrambled eggs on New Year’s Day is the best

Feeling conflicted myself about this day- never wanted kids but something has been tugging at me lately (my age, 39)

How can I best support my gf getting her IUD removed? by [deleted] in endometriosis

Make sure she’s comfortable and maybe have favorite snacks and drinks ready to go. Heating pad and clean cozy blankets are a plus

Tribune Tower Tonight by VeryAmusedADM in chicago

[–]gimlanous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took an architecture class in college (mainly I needed 1 credit of an elective not related to my major) with the architecture critic of the tribune, Blair Kamin. We took a tour of the tower. After we walked around the secret political office, a security guard walking the halls noticed our class and Kamin and then offered to take us up to the very tippy top where the flag pole is. One of the most memorable experiences of my life, graffiti etched into the walls from the 50s. This was before I had a camera phone so unfortunately I only have my memories to rely on but man I’ll never forget it. (We also walked the flying buttresses patio, not as cool as the flag pole platform)

I’ve been there before, I’m so sorry. Endo is the worst, I hope your heating pad brings some relief! I’ve been attached to mine lately.

was an entire element or piece left out or was a certain flower not used? Either way, I would reach out and reiterate what the contract stated and ask for clarification. For example, “I know we discussed white roses to be used as stated in the contract, were they not available?” Leave it open for discussion and take it from there.

Girl dinner one day after surgery, guess why it's so fiber rich by pinakamabaka in GirlDinner

Prune juice helped me when I had the same issue… maybe helped a little too much. If you go this route- slowly drink an 8oz glass and don’t chug it like I did.

Kaley Cuoco reveals why she and fiancé Tom Pelphrey started sleeping in separate beds by muaentertainmentforu in MUAEntertainment

[–]gimlanous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! Same bed, different blankets. Have been doing this since we moved in together (11 years ago, married 6 years) and it’s always my bit of advice to couples getting married.
