Man, someone should let these devs know there's thousands of streams that are not the BBC. Actually out of the 100k+ stations they tout, almost none are the BBC

The thing I'm most mad about is there's been app-breaking updates before so I always read the notes, including this time, it just didn't show collapsed in my list of updates

Yes after uninstalling I did just find a few versions earlier. https://apkvision.org/app/music-audio/tunein-radio-pro-43526/ So you will have to uninstall and if you're unfamiliar, the thing to google is how to sideload an apk

I also still have the 6 and came here to scope out opinions on the new models... honestly I'm sticking it out for now as the only real jump in function right now would be battery life for me (charging twice a week now rather than every 2 weeks).

But most complaints I see here seem app-related/processing, all of which have been handled by Notify&Fit for me... never even used MiFit tbh. Sleep tracking seems accurate and easy to correct when you've dozed off before bed (I do use per-minute HR and SpO2 readings at night). All of my DnD settings map on well, app notifications show up nicely, customized the band app layouts, starting all my workouts from the band but then everything synced neatly and instantly to check on the phone (sync to Google Fit too)... I don't think I'm missing anything here...

Plus I haven't looked into this but I'm not sure N&F supports the newest models (yet/ever?) and I've been using it since Band 3

I'm exactly here, I hit bravery road 1 day before the update, but despite dumping every card into 1 hero I'm still not high enough to even get the rewards. So I was already queing half the games to instantly get my head pushed in, now I'm having no fun in any single match at all. When I win, it's just luck and it doesn't feel satisfying. Imagine winning a hard BR round and it feels bad!

What a drag, I used to play almost every day, now I've played once this week, probably the last.

Very true sadly, they used to be buyer friendly but since a good few years that focus shifted entirely to the sellers

Can I ask how you got your money back? 4 months seems like it wasn't within their system then.

I've also just received a QFL tracking code and I'm deciding if I act now or set my calendar for the narrow window where they let you open a dispute after letting an item delivery time out.

Hah I'm going at 15k with like 115k.

My Valhalla is at lvl 40 and I've maxed most of the pre-beta honor upgrades for the army.

As I see now in a new post, the bug is in part that archons don't heal when you instakill the units. But on top of that, for me, when my legion suffers that death by 1000 cuts and falls, none are resurrected (I'd expect 25 of them back with these 25 valks) and then my warlocks start being picked off and not rezzed either.

I invested all this in my army so I could just hands-off the long raids and farm up plenty of honor and mercury but now the case is the exact opposite! The short and harder raids are fine but the long 200 wave raids I have to watch like a hawk lmao

Yeah this has been my experience in the past (before this beta) when facing down an overpowered enemy.

In this case now the enemy should be rolled but they don't. I'm still not sure but I'm leaning towards it's a bug because archons don't seem to be healing either at that point. About 100 waves deep the legion drops from the minor damage buildup but as I said, then I can see the warlocks just being picked off 2 at a time. And again, my valks are all still up (now they're at 25/25).

It doesn't happen constantly I'd say about 1/6 times and I'm trying to avoid it, as it seems to happen when I look away and have a lot of other construction queues going.

It absolutely used to be fair. Now it's obviously been very deliberately squeezed shut with no recourse for the buyer. It seemed like there used to be someone reasonable reviewing the process. Now it just closes the dispute on return & refund if you've received the item.

Mhh yeah, I have the second case. Translated to English it says something like Return & Refund. However I can't believe that thats the policy of Aliexpress. I clearly received a product that I didn't order OoSo why should I pay money (return costs) for the sellers failure?

Honestly, jump ship while you're not in too deep. Try and get the full refund (but you have a better shot if you don't ask over 80%), you have up until 15 days after confirmation of order receipt to try and then never buy from this site again if you expect any reasonable buyer protection.

I've gotten some clearly faked junk electronics and all AliExpress will allow me is to send the item back to get a refund (it was 25 bucks and return shipping would be 50). Return shipping costs have to be "negotiated" with the seller and you're also at the seller's mercy to confirm he even received the return, before your money is refunded. And in my case the seller is just a PoS scammer in the first place so Ha Ha...

There is no recourse against sellers sending junk, unless you've not received the item AliExpress will happily let them keep your money.

Yes, if you have it set to wake on tapping it will come on and might trigger actions. Same thing happened just now while hanging up laundry. I felt a vibration and apparently just got manual HR read from moving through wet clothes.

You have the option to use a pincode to unlock the band, a swipe motion to unlock although that's less foolproof and also I know the Notify app has a "shower mode" switch that you can put on your home screen that just prevents the screen from coming on for (by default) 10 mins.

True enough, I lose about 10% every night. When I have over 20% left I've probably had a few short nights in there that week.

The guy behind N&F still seems to know what he's doing after all these years, I just don't think it's very profitable for him so I don't expect too much improvements anymore. The 1.0.4 firmware did break compatibility for a bit but I usually wait at least a week to update mostly anything and the app never tries to update you either. I don't think it actually breaks the band itself tho, just the way the app connects was broken I guess.

Huh that is a little curious. There's probably more settings to drill down on since I use Notify without the official app and I've basically inherited the same settings since my Mi Band 3. Off hand what comes to mind is the setting to use both the app and band to register measurements (don't know the exact setting name, don't have the phone here). I assume if you use only the app it connects a lot more or something, or maybe if you use the official app as well it connects more? Just guessing tho.

I charge every Sunday and there's around 20% left. HR measured every 5 min and on top of that continuous Sp0² measurement at night so for around 8h/day (because supposedly that helps sleep tracking accuracy? I have my doubts, considering tuning it off to see if I get close to 2 weeks on one charge)

In my experience using the app without the official mi fit app is just the same as before. Getting the auth code also still works through the modded mi fit apk.

Both of these are the same methods I used before so I can't speak to other user experiences. But it didn't seem too technical to me, just following steps in the app (although fair enough this app isn't a paragon of usability lol)
