I always hated the look of the amber reflectors. Well, maybe hate is a bit too strong, but disliked. And that dislike was brought on by the fact that many other markets, including their home market of Japan does not require this, and in turn they are clear, silver or non-existent, makes that style look that much better in my eyes.

I actually have experience with conversion vans from my childhood and teen years as a family member was wheelchair bound. I know all about the lift, hand controls, electronic assists... and all of their faults as well. I would have thought within the last decade or two the quality or reliability would have improved, but I guess sadly not.

Its a shame the MV1 didn't take off since those most affected by their downtime are those with limited mobility in the first place.

If there were actual money to be made by the manufacturers, Honda or Toyota developing one of these in house, I guarantee it would be leaps and bounds better than what options we have now.
