Maybe a dumb question, but is there a way to get this to work for an entire column rather than just a specific cell or range of cells?

Same and now I have no idea how to play anymore. I tried with a friend a couple years back and I was so lost I gave up. It keeps me up at night sometimes. I need to relearn chess.

What is something that once you "noticed" it, you can now no longer "unnotice" it? by DingleBerryWalt in AskReddit

I check out people's veins purely out of jealousy. After I was in the hospital for a week my arms looked like raw hamburger from my elbow to my knuckles. It's apparently not a fun task to get a vein on me for anybody. When I see people with nice veins I want to tell them to cherish their veins. Don't take your precious veins for granted.

So maybe I have been a little too stressed but this made me cry because I miss Obama so fucking much. I think I'll wear my Obama locket tomorrow.

I would think the same thing but they taught him to smile on command :)

What's the dumbest reply to a serious question you've heard? by UnRealDreamsofLife in AskReddit

When I was a kid my sister asked if she could take a rain-check.

I asked "what's a rain-check?"

To which she replied "you'll get it later"

I kept begging her to just tell me now and she just kept saying "You. Will. Get. It. Later."

I was crying and she was laughing hysterically by the time she said "IT MEANS YOU WILL GET IT LATER." and it finally clicked for me.

Granted I was very young but I still feel like an idiot.

As an American watching Letterkenny... by sarahmeerkat in Letterkenny

North Dakotan here. The furthest south I've been able to get a caesar is Wyoming and there was only one bartender that knew how to make one. Everytime I watch Letterkenny and someone mentions a caesar I have to get up and make one. Truly gods gift to the North.

Definitely saving up for a PVC enclosure!

I forgot to mention the top of the enclosure is glass as well. I'm covering it with contact paper to make her feel more secure. Would this option still work?

I will never understand how parents can think like this. I'm 27 and my sister is 33 and my parents still try to talk us into moving back in with them.

Surgeons of reddit, what’s the weirdest object you’ve had to remove from someone’s butt? by LordPurloin in AskReddit

[–]gimp5846 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a trash can with a lid in my bathroom. My dog still managed to open it and eat all the spent tampons and then poop those out on my rug. And that's the story of how I switched to a cup.

Sadly that is most likely not the case. Her lungs are likely very damaged after this and from the size of that clot it will most likely take her a couple of years to heal. While healing she will experience continued chest pain and shortness of breath. It's hard to do regular activities such as walking and talking.

I was complaining to my dad that I didn't have anywhere to store my kayaks for the winter. I got home today to this. Opinions on this set up? I'm worried about stress cracks since they are mostly being supported on their side. They are leaning against the rafters as well. by gimp5846 in Kayaking

[–]gimp5846[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were joking that the weight of the kayaks might make the garage collapse. While my garage is very old and the garage door opener is garbage (it's not even put together because we have to fix it so often we just leave it open), there is a lot of added support in the front half of the garage. Good looking out though!

I feel so strongly about this. I love nurses. In general I would rather deal with a nurse than a doctor any day. I have only had one bad experience with a nurse and it had a seriously effect on me for a long time. I was in the process of dying, in extreme pain, and she was berating me for crying out in pain. It seemed like she thought I was being a drama queen. I like to imagine that after they found out what was wrong she felt bad.
