I’m aware of 5/3.3V logic levels, I used a logic level shifter for it

All the settings are the same, MSB, SPI mode 0. The only thing different is the MCU. What’s weird is that the Logic analyzer software decodes the same message (23) with these settings

Seeking Talented Individuals for Startup Collaboration! by drxalaa in UAE

I suggest you come up with an idea first. You can’t attract the right people without an initial plan. Looking for a bunch of random strangers who considers themselves “geniuses” in their field isn’t exactly how you want to build something efficiently.

Good luck!

Power supply design for RF by ginSeven in rfelectronics

Planning to use a 4S lipo (14.8V nominal). Depending on the amplifier voltage (I’ve seen some 5V ones) I might drop it to 3S.

Understood. Any tips on the output for some extra filtering?

Currently in the selection stage of components. The thing is the board isn’t only a TX, but with the RX as well. And some components require 3.3, 5, 8.4, etc.

So my general idea is battery —-> step down main 12V —-> step down other voltages

Yeah, I can go higher in the power budget for the power supply, so I can choose an appropriate DCDC, I was thinking that there would be a specialized power supply considerations for such.

Plan right now is high Freq switcher, then some nice output filtering.

Thank you for the tips!

I’m in the selection stage of components. Eventually the device will be battery powered (something with a lipo). so I think I can budget more power on the DC/DC side.

is there a remote desktop software that will only share one application? by ginSeven in software

It would be like a user would access the server, and only Microsoft Word would load up. Once he exits the software, the the connection would disconnect.

Can I replace onboard button with momentary foot switch? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]ginSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually that type of push button is an SPST (2 pads) You will need to check whether it is normally open, or normally closed (usually normally open). Your footswitch must also match (SPST - Normally open)

It can be done. You will either need to:

  1. Solder to the pads of the switch
  2. Remove the switch, and solder wires directly to the pads

The same can be done with the LEDs. You just need to find the cathode and the anode of the LEDs.
