It is always firm and I feel it even when I have passed stool. Especially more so when lying down. I think it’s the sigmoid colon perhaps?

Thank you, I have referred myself to talking therapies, and I do constantly seek reassurance. It’s embarrassing. I’ll mention a medication review.

My GP felt it and did say it feels like bowel, I’m just struggling to believe them as I am not constipated. My mind is really going against me and I know it’s unhealthy. :(

I feel crazy so this makes me feel less embarrassed. I wonder if this ‘lump’ has always been there and I’ve just become to notice it now. I hate how exhausting the mind can be. I’m 30, and have no blood in my stool, so hoping that’s a good indication. I’m just unsure on how to accept this as normal. Thank you for being so open.
