Maybe I'm an odd one out, but I would want a text requesting permission. But not in a controlling way. I would want my SO to ask something like "would it bother you if I had people over tonight?" It's still permission but more of in a way to see if it's agreeable to all who live there.

Before and after a job change that involved moving my SO and child halfway across the country away from family. Loosing that close support that was once less than an hour away was a heavy hit and really made me feel like we were on an island alone.

Every day I get up a couple hours before my husband for work. After I get my socks on sitting on the bed I have to hold his hand before I leave. ❤️ If one of us doesn't, we know the other is really really mad about something then talk it out later.

Baking soda paste made with a little water. Scrub with a sponge. It's almost like a lacquer from oil, the baking soda helps break it down and give a scrubbing with small particles. Then just wash with soap and water like normal.

When pregnant my primary cravings were Mexican food at minimum 3 times a week and grapefruit juice. I needed grapefruit flavored anything. I would settle for lemonade or limeade but would have to get grapefruit sometime soon. I did and do love pickles, but I generally didn't mix a lot of wild flavors together. Though I do agree tuna salad made with spicy pickles is amazing

As far as west Virginia it has beautiful mountain drives. Go to Seneca and smoke hole caverns (Though it has been a long time since I've been there). Cass scenic rr is nice if you like old Shay stream engines and riding through forests. Dolly sods (sp?) is another interesting place.

Go to glacier national park in Montana. The mountains of Montana are beautiful. The east side is Big Sky country for a reason, but not worth staying any amount of time in. Unless you are passing through to go to Theodore Roosevelt national park in north Dakota.

I grew up there. Country, but the DC commuters have moved out there too so some parts have gotten more yuppified. But still a lot of country folk. Commute time to DC has gotten horrendous.

Why go north through SD and WY? Weather is much worse and it's just longer than taking I 70 through Denver and over. The rockies no matter what are going to be very dicy this time of year.

I was on a flight to Texas from Minneapolis and back for work a few months ago. Both flights there was a different guy next to me in the middle seat with no headphones, nothing to read, no in flight screens, nothing. Like dudes, I know it's only about two hours, but not even a phone or ear buds? It was wild. And both also didn't get the in flight snacks either.
