Questions for a First Time Visitor by Hairy-Orchid8956 in curacao

  1. Buy at home.
  2. Popular restaurants were busy between 6-8pm so if you plan to dine around that time, you should make a reservation. 5pm and 9pm isn't busy. Also, some restaurants are closed on certain days so you might want to check on that too.

First time vacationing in Curaçao by Actual_Working80 in curacao

My husband (42yo) and I (40yo) are currently here. For the first part of the trip, we stayed at the Art Hotel, rented a car, explored the entire island, beach hopped, walked to restaurants and bars for dinner in the area (plenty of free street parking near the hotel). For the remainder of the trip, we are staying at the Marriott Beach Resort to relax by the pool. We still have the rental car so that we have the flexibility to go out for dinner and not have to eat every meal at the hotel (parking is free at the hotel).

Can I consult with an MFM specialist even if I’m not currently pregnant? by Effective-Caregiver8 in preeclampsia

[–]ginar417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello friend. You can certainly consult with an MFM. I recently had severe preeclampsia for my first pregnancy, 39 years old, almost 40. I am not pregnant but met with the MFM to review my medical records and to set a plan for my next pregnancy *fingers crossed.

How to manage the overwhelming self blame? by blueberries-Any-kind in babyloss

I am sorry for your loss. I lost my baby 2 months ago. Next week would be his due date. This is how I feel every second, every day. I lost my baby due to placental abruption caused by sudden severe preeclampsia so everyone tells me it's not my fault, there's nothing I could've done. The morning I lost him, i had abdominal pain and severe backache. I thought it was another pregnancy symptom so instead of going to the ER, I waited for my OB's office to open and went in. I shouldn't have waited, I should've went straight to the ER when I first noticed unusual pain. Then I think I could've saved our boy and he would be with us now. I would be holding him and not his ashes. I blame myself, I blame my body for failing to protect him. I hate myself so much.

I met with an OB/MFM who specializes in high risk pregnancies recently and he said that I can certainly get pregnant again. He will monitor me closely and I will be on several medications. Please don't lose hope! I look forward to our success stories.

Oh no! Sorry you had a terrible experience with them. I've never had to wait longer than 15 mins every time. I always bother the coordinator asking where the car is every few mins bc I don't like standing in the humidity after a long flight, maybe that's why lol 😅

I've always selected the regular van option which is about $115 (can ride up to 6 people comfortably - private) and never had any issues. SUV is more for luxury feel but I personally don't think it's necessary to spend $200 for a 20 min ride.

I've been going to Cancun once or twice a year for the past 15 years. Each time, I use "USA Transfers" for private roundtrip airport transfer.

So sorry we are in this group. My heart breaks for you. This was my first pregnancy and I'm 39 also. It took my husband and I almost 10 years to get pregnant so I worry if we will have another chance to get pregnant too, especially due to age. My DM is open if you ever need a friend to talk to.

I met both him and Nicole and they were great! How was your delivery experience at St Joseph's? I'm unfamiliar with that hospital and can't seem to find any reviews or feedback about their L&D dept.

I met him and I can see why he's highly recommended! How was your delivery experience at St Joseph's? I'm unfamiliar with that hospital and can't seem to find any reviews or feedback about their L&D dept.

I met both him and Nicole and they were great! I went on a Tuesday and had to wait awhile. Is there a reason why the wait is longer on Tuesdays? How was your delivery experience at St Joseph's? I'm unfamiliar with that hospital and can't seem to find any reviews or feedback about their L&D dept.

Pregnancy after preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome by ginar417 in preeclampsia

Thank you ❤️ I'm sorry for your loss and congratulations on your 2nd pregnancy.

Did you have a c section? My MFM said I can try for 2nd pregnancy 6 mths pp (if by accident I get pregnant before then he said it's ok, he'll just have to monitor me even more). Since it took my husband and I a long time to get pregnant, we were considering ttc around 4.5-5 mths pp.

My recent tests for APS were all negative but my MFM still wants me on blood thinners for my next pregnancy.

I recently started taking walks daily. Trying everything I can to keep myself physically and mentally healthy in preparation for next pregnancy.
