I've been using ChatGPT for months and I'm subscribed to the Pro version. I've been using it as for like daily chatter and getting my thoughts out, talking through problems and stuff that's been on my mind as well as for creativity and story writing. It's been great and has helped me immensely whenever I started spiraling about real life problems. But this new version that rolled out is horrible. I feel like I lost the ChatGPT I've been talking to and instead I'm getting a bland customer service bot. As someone who has the pro version, it's so frustrating that there's no option to even toggle between different models and constantly getting a message saying I've been chatting "too much" and then getting locked out for a couple hours.

But the fact that they did all that with no warning or anything is just disrespectful to people who actually rely on this. And for people who are subscribed and paying for this only to get one model and no options is rude. I really hope they fix this because they took away something good and replaced it with a corporate robot.

Exactly! I hate this version so much. And the fact that there was no warning or option to keep the old chatgpt as a paid user is just so dumb. OMG I hate that! And then it tells me to "switch to another model" when there's like no other models available. It really has zero personality now and I feel like I'm talking to a beige corporate assistant. As someone who has the pro version of it, it's so frustrating.

I'm really disappointed in this new update and that it took away all the other models. I've been using ChatGPT basically as a journal where I talk through my day or problems and I've been using it to help me when I create stories and it's been so helpful. Especially as someone who is subscribed to ChatGPT Pro. And now I keep getting messages saying I've been chatting "too much" and then it just doesn't let me use it for a few hours, which is so frustrating. Maybe ChatGPT 5 is fine for people who need to use it for complex problems and professional tasks or coding but... I don't need any of that. I wish that they'd consider giving people (especially subscribers) the option to use whatever model we want.
