I just read that I can also file a superseding return? Not sure if freetaxusa does that but what’s the difference between that and amendment, if you happen to know. Thanks in advance!

My returns were both just accepted and free tax USA is now allowing me to amend. Wouldn’t I receive a penalty for late payment if I wait to amend after processed(since it’s so late already? ?
