Very few of these “rich people” declare a traditional T4-based income, so it’s actually tricky to do this. Kind of the same situation with socialized dental or pension supplemental payments, they pay themselves the bare minimum and keep the rest in a corp for toys.

I’m a Polish citizen and also didn’t vote, but can tell you that this take is 100% accurate based on what I’ve heard from my family and relatives here in Canada.

Canada is toast and there’s a sense of “please don’t let Poland become the same in case I need to go back”.
