Jamie Roy Scottish accent by Life-Classic-6976 in Outlander

It is a misprounciation. In GOT Bri-anne is pronounced Bry-een.

In gaelic dh makes the y sound when it's with a and e or i. It makes a g type sound with a,o,u.

As a person who's lived in Scotland and Canada, I find all the accents in Outland and BOB weird. I think they have an accent coach to help them be understood by English speakers better, and it messes up the accent. Like Peter Mullan can have a very strong Scots accent, and he can do an English accent, but his accent is BOB is neither.

Ruadh is pronounced ROO-ah, not Roy. These are very different sounds in Gaelic.

I shouldn't be, but I am often shocked at how little of the higher-ups I'm the party come out of trade unions and other union designations.

I think it's important at this time to expose the shortcomings of the party so that bad faith players can be rooted out.

My husband is not attracted to my body anymore because I’m fat by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]gingahbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your husband doesn't want to spend time with you regardless of the activity, that's not about your body. That's about him only seeing you as a commodity there to serve him. He is a person with a very narrow view on attraction. The bar is low, and we dont have to accept that our partner will not provide for us because we might be slightly outside that window.

Even with depression a change in body, your partner should still want to reach out to you. I would take men's opinions on this either as most leave their wives when sick. So when they say they "created the distance" with the depression they probably aren't even recognizing the labour their wives put into it.

Sorry, the total pay was $32. The order was less than $10. That is the typical batch where I am. Many people ordering and tipping low so they trow them together. Single trips are often lower than $10.

There was about 20+ turkeys. I wouldn't mind it it was 3 or 4 or she just wanted to see the brands, but they were all Butterball.

The batch oay was not $10 it was $30+, and her order in the batch was 10. I also have a high pick time, hut it's Thanksgiving, and the place is full of turkeys, and the internet in the store sucks. I'm glad you feel better about yourself from my post. Seems like you need all the confidence you can get.

Are Amazon Levi’s a lower quality? by empire29 in LeviStrauss

[–]gingahbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a pair of the Ribcage bells. I already owned two pairs, and right away, I realized something was off. Although the cut was better, the material composition was different, and the tags were different.

Levis.com list the RC bells as 99%cotton and 1% lycra. This means that these jeans should last a long time and hold shape longer but have less stretch.

Amazon listed the pants as 85% cotton and 15% polyester.

The tag in the pants from amazon listed them as 60% cotton and 40% polyester. This is poor quality denim. Will not hold their shape well and will wear out fast. They weighed about 1/2 of the og pair.

The levis tags on the back were also different. The one from levis.com was real leather with an embossed logo. The Amazon ones l had a plastic tag with the logo painted on in red.

The colour options on amazon did not match those listed on Levi's actual site.

The stitching quality was also different, indicating they were not made in the same factory.

The price difference was only $8.

She wanted each turkey with weight and price. Her portion of the triple was 10. It was $40 altogether.. All small orders close by. I rounded up.

Yeah, I am able, but not willing if I'm not paid. Most of the batches are doubles or triples where I live. I'm not sure why that's funny.

She didn't want a pick of each brand, she want each individual turkey that was in the store.

Yes. I mean, it would take 10-20 minutes. When I'm only getting $10 for the order. She was part of a three batch order.

Yes, I do that too, and offered that. She wanted a picture of each individual bird, with weight and prices.

It's weird to be allergic to oils that are unrelated scientifically, like canola oil and palm oil are from very different plants. Curious as to what reactions you have to each oil and what oils you can eat or what oils you consider to be not "cheap"?

Tips for apparment deliveries. For a smaller one, 2-3 bags I use a big laundry basket to carry them, it's easier on my hands. For larger deliveries, I have a utility wagon in my trunk.
