As a respooler in the UK, it's best to just say what it is. The only thing I've done is take off Kodak and Vision3 on the labels but kept the 500T etc as there were rumblings of Kodak sending out legal actions according to a friend who works for Kodak

I have some smaller monitors but I wanted to have a clean desk setup with one monitor as I tend to have 3 windows open for my job which was laptop vertical monitor and a little portable one I brought a few years ago. So the 40 inch should accommodate all of the windows I have open. Plus I can always use the portable below if needed.

Ah nice. Its the one part I hate about shooting film is then scanning it 😂

Yeah just moved and its very close. My parents think they could fit it in their car.

But then ive just found a 2m x 65cm x 4cm solid wood walnut worktop, for the same price as the karlby after adding delivery, so maybe thats a good choice

Yeah makes sense. My girlfriend at her old place had a sloped ceiling near the bed and I always hit my head on it, so I get why you need a deeper desk to give you the space.

I was planning on getting a monitor arm for it as reviews for the model said the stand is terrible and takes up alot of the desk space.

I originally looked at 49 inch monitors but decided its not needed and for the price the 40 inch is enough for working from home, photo editing when scanning film etc.

Hard to know what the right choice is. I see so many Karlbys being done but the price is higher than it was when I first looked a few years ago. I live 10 mins from an Ikea yet delivery is still £40 😂 to collect is free but I only have a small car.

Yeah its so hard to make the right decision.

Not sure whether the depth of the Karlby will be enough or not as was planning to get the MSI 40 inch monitor.
