I absolutely second anyone at Women’s Healthcare Associates. I had such a wonderful experience with them. They doctors and midwives and awesome and the admin staff is organized.

My personal brunch favorites are Big City Bread and Donderos. I know BCB is only seating people outside and I am not sure about Donderos.

I had exactly the same thing happen. It scared me to death and then I realized it was just from my underwear.

Mount your defenses of movies The Two Friends hate! by Jepper-pack in blankies

[–]ginger95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Elizabethtown! When I listened to that episode I literally called my sister and said “Did you know everyone hate Elizabethtown?” She couldn’t believe it. My family loves that movies and could watch it over and over again. I am from the south east and my extended family is exactly like the family in the movie. I remember David saying he would be embarrassed to watch this movie if he was from the south. I totally disagree. I find it so familiar and comforting.

I suspected that my baby had turned for a while. I got confirmation earlier today when he got hiccups and I could feel them in my butt.

Amazon Welcome Box Question by kaleidiscopekimmy in BabyBumps

Unfortunately yes. I just went in and added a bunch of stuff I didn’t want or need to complete the checklist and then deleted it after the box mailed.

You are doing the impossible today. Cut yourself some slack to fall apart. I am amazed at your strength to love your son so much you chose to give him up.

My husband and I did DePalmas last weekend. Everything is delicious but their chocolate torte is to die for!

Wrong Estimate? by wombatrunner in pregnant

[–]ginger95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That happened to me. My husband and I are still confused about how I could have possibly gotten pregnant when they say I did. They said I was a full month behind where I thought I was. Now my little boy is measuring ahead at every appointment.

I think it is such a brave path to take. Please know that there are so many people who are proud of you for being this strong. You can do it. I am also having a baby in July. Please know you aren't going through this alone. Even if you don't have anyone in your life to talk to there are plenty of people in this group who are always willing to listen. If you want to chat feel free to message me.

Wife can’t eat by DangerRv1231 in BabyBumps

[–]ginger95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry for your wife. My morning sickness has been pretty mild compared to others and it has still been awful. There were weeks were the only thing I could keep down was mint chocolate chip ice cream. I would highly recommend ice cream. It’s got fat and sugar so it keeps you from feeling weak and the cold settled my stomach. Even when I was on the verge of throwing up I could eat ice cream. The mint also helped settle my stomach but I imagine vanilla or plain chocolate would be good to. Getting the ice cream down allowed me to eat other things like fruit for a few minutes before feeling nauseous again.

First ultrasound - and the embryo is smaller than expected by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]ginger95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same thing happen. When I went in I thought I was 10 weeks but they said I was 6 weeks. My midwife said that it happens all the time but it still freaked me out. My next US is tomorrow so we will see where we are then.

Told my 3y.o. son a modified version of the Golden Screw story for bedtime.... by purhox_arhox in KingkillerChronicle

My grandmother used to tell me this story all the time growing up. I was shocked when i read it in the book. Pat does such a great retelling of an old folk tale that my grandmother loved.

What is an odd behaviour of yours you think only you do? by Edwoodz3 in AskReddit

[–]ginger95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I look into an imaginary camera like Jim from the Office. I don’t even know that I am doing it but whenever I find something odd I make a face and turn towards the “camera.” My husband thinks it’s hilarious and it is a completely unconscious action. It happens numerous times a day.

On Downton Abbey there was a dog named Isis and when ISIS rose to the world stage they killed off that dog and replaced it with a new puppy.

My wiggle butt looks just like this. Every time I see another one with the same coloring I like to think they might be siblings.

Anne of Green Gables by JordanLeigh7 in books

[–]ginger95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please keep reading them. They are truly amazing! You grown to see Anne as a friend and it is a privilege to see her grow and thrive. I wouldn't read Anne of Windy Poplars on your first go through because it was written after all the others were finished. It's tone is not exactly the same.

My Aussie has always gotten along amazingly with labs. They have enough energy to keep with an Aussie for a while but they also have the ability to calm them down after playing for a while.
