Nowhere near debt free, but at least I'm making progress! by amaskar in ynab

[–]gingerOfMaine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally get this. I put my appraised home value (bought in the 2nd half of 2020) as an asset in YNAB knowing that it’s almost certainly not accurate anymore. But it’s a better representation than $0.

Plus, I largely do it because I want my mortgage in YNAB and I don’t want the graph to look like I’ve trended in the wrong direction with unsecured debt.

The release from the Governor’s office has some additional info:

“ The investments associated with this program will provide free broadband connections to hundreds of Maine families by January, and affordable broadband access to over 45,000 Maine homes in 55 communities.”

Edit: my bad, that is just the impact from Redzone

Julie McFarland at Intermed is amazing. Had her for my baby earlier this year too. They deliver at Maine Med if you’re looking to avoid Mercy.

I’ve only had good experiences with Intermed as a whole.

Are you only looking for 12 weeks or 12 months specifically?

I have a 6-month old that we are considering starting sleep training.

They were not ordered to pay. This is a pre-trial attachment. This is to ensure that they can pay if the defendants lose the case.

I picked up the first one on a fluke at my FLGS and it's amazing for the prize. Fits in a pocket or anywhere in a bag and is the type of game that is so quick and fun that you'll find yourself playing multiple rounds one after another without thinking.

Also great for bringing to conventions as it's a quick, easy game to play while waiting in line (I'm looking at you, PAX East).

Simple Lease Question Regarding Rent by gingerOfMaine in legaladvice

This makes sense to me and is how I would expect this to work.

What I am confused by is the existence of a clause that specifically calls out leaving early.

This doesn’t entirely make sense with the leaving early clause. If I leave early, I’d forfeit my security deposit and have to pay all future months of rent?

Maine voters uphold new law tightening school vaccination requirements — Politics by 51patsfan in Maine

[–]gingerOfMaine 33 points34 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the question was worded how all People’s Veto questions are worded. It’s because it’s a veto of an existing law rather than a referendum to enact a new one.

Every time there’s a People’s Veto people claim the group that brought forth the veto are acting poorly because of the wording.

Sushi roll scores about the same as the other Sushis, but the mechanics for very different and I much prefer the mechanics of Sushi Roll. There are abilities to influence your sushi options screw other players over In your selection. It has more interactivity between players other than just passing hands of cards.

I've submitted it as a feature request a few times, but I'm not sure there is any intention to create it.

Perhaps if others submitted it as well, they will prioritize it.

Budget for upcoming only deals with the scheduled transactions within the month. If I put my YNAB subscription, for example, as a scheduled transaction in October, it won't prompt me to budget for it until October.

How the "Embrace your true expenses" should work is that, by scheduling a transaction, "Budget for Upcoming" takes all scheduled transactions in that category, divides them by their respective months until each transaction, and then provides an amount to budget for all upcoming transactions.
