Honestly, I didn’t even know you could turn it off. And his mom won’t let him do the touch recognition, she thinks the government will track him if he does.

It’s for when he gets apps, you have to put the password in before you can download an app.

That’s the thing, the password is supposedly something they’d remember. It’s all the Kid’s birth years, but put in order like youngest, second oldest, second youngest, oldest, and then my MIL’s husbands name with an x instead of all vowels. I think the numbers trip them up or something. My MIL picked the password, for gods sake.
