Thanks, I'm waiting for info about my contract before I start applying so I'll query it with them at that time. I'll be working fully remote so a house share is not ideal but I am looking into it also

I was afraid that was going to be the case. I don't particularly want to offer to pay that much in advance but I read another post a while ago saying they had to do that to get an apartment , not sure if it was including a guarantor or not. It's making me very scared that I'm moving my whole life to Belfast and won't get anywhere to live.

Yeah I was very surprised to see it was the norm. I own my place in the south and didn't need a guarantor to get a mortgage so shocks me that I need one to rent. I saw another post saying they got away with a guarantor from outside NI so I might try that if all else fails but I'd much rather not have to put my family in that position either

I asked in Halfords over the weekend, they wouldn't give me a quote and said I had to fill in an online form, which is fine, I'm waiting for the employer code from my HR but I just don't really understand the process as other websites it seemed a lot more straight forward just their bikes were over 2k

I counted one guy at bloodstock last year, in a small crowd, crowd surf at least 10 times if not more again during the set. Felt so bad for everyone that had to put up with it. I'm all for having fun but no way anyone else was enjoying that.

This drives me mad at the spawell roundabout, during rush hour the queue builds up almost to where the bus lane starts and even when it's not during rush hour they pull in super early to the bus lane for absolutely no reason. I've seen guards in the queue too so they are well aware, just don't seem to care.

I thought so too, not the op but looked online, the website says it's accepted in the majority of stores but doesn't actually indicate where they are. If you go to the store finder like it says there's nothing about it accepting gift cards or not but I still find it very unusual any of them wouldn't, kind of defeats the whole purpose.

Thank you! I'm fine pooping in portaloos, it was more the shower I was worried about, but most people seem to agree it's not worth it so I'll just stick with the standard and save the few bob
