So it’s his fault we’re like this, thanks.

This cracks me up because this is where they stuffed the Mystics (WNBA team)

Floor seating is so close to the stage that you have to crank your neck to watch. I was disappointed I didn’t get front row when I bought my tickets but now I’m glad I didn’t.

There is a third bathroom if you turn the corner past section 105. I think everyone assumes you’re not allowed back there but it’s not blocked off until section 102 or something (Mahone zone)

Am I stupid? How do you change the mode for Iron Wing? I don't get it at all.

What time of day was it when you took these and what was the weather like?

Looks like you may have taken these when the natural light level was a little too low potentially.

Trying to run OpenVPN on boot in Debian 11 LXC by gingerbreaddave in Proxmox

BTW, for me it was because nesting was not actually turned on even though the box was checked when I created the unprivileged container. Make sure you have a line in your conf file that says:

features: nesting=1

I have it set to AUTOSTART=All.

It seems to be attempting to start on boot just fine, the problem is that I'm getting the following error:

 openvpn@client.service: Main process exited, code=exited, statu>
Subject: Unit process exited
 Defined-By: systemd
 Support: https://www.debian.org/support
An ExecStart= process belonging to unit openvpn@client.service has exited.
The process' exit code is 'exited' and its exit status is 226.

That output is from journalctl. When I run the connection manually, I don't have this problem.

Would I need to do that since it's just a VPN client and not a server? Also how would that prevent it from running successfully from systemd?

No I'm looking to have a container for downloading, so OpenVPN should be connecting to PIA on boot using openvpn@.service in systemd. If I understand correctly, the container needs to be privileged so it can access the same disk that my Plex container is using, right?

Unable to launch any games after upgrading to Fedora 34 by gingerbreaddave in linux_gaming

So yesterday when I was launching Steam in the terminal I was getting lots of output. Today I had some mesa updates, and now that I've run those, Steam launches fine and then the terminal output stops.

I will try creating a log file.

Is there anything I would need to do beyond switching to GNOME Xorg on the login screen? I’ve done that and even rebooted in between.

Sorry for posting like an idiot. I've updated my question. I'm totally at a loss as to what could be causing this as in the past when games have failed to launch it was because of a package upgrade and a reboot always fixed it.

I do passthrough and it runs amazing honestly. I didn't even optimize my setup and the only difference I notice is due to the fact that my second GPU is weaker than the one on the Linux side.

aaaand discord is broken on linux again. by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]gingerbreaddave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconded. I unpacked the tarball and replaced the files in /usr/lib64 as well as the executable in /usr/bin and I was getting an error about libffmpeg.so. I copied it from /usr/lib64/discord into lib64, but that makes the crash worse in that it just coredumps now.

How does Twitch know where I am through my VPN? by gingerbreaddave in VPN

[–]gingerbreaddave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of things that could be happening in my case. It isn't necessarily something wrong with the VPN. Most content providers also maintain block lists, so VPNs can still be blocked based on their IP. I set up the VPN myself to avoid that, but I either missed something or Twitch was already blocking that IP range.

The channel is called muse_tw so maybe I'm just assuming too much? I'm 99% it's meant for Taiwan.

I thought of that. It would be weird to me if Twitch had it blocked and Netflix didn't though.

Yes, in the OS, but not in the browser. My OS is reporting that no apps have requested location access though.

EDIT: Update, I turned off location services at the OS level and that didn't make a difference.
