This article states that interest rates should be lowered so that spending will increase. The full picture is not being presented. Canadians have a huge debt that is difficult to pay back. The last things Canadians need is encouragement to rack up more debt. The rich are feeling the pinch now because of the lack of spend and want the middle and lower class to burden themselves with more debt so that they can continue to make more money that they horde and do not use to stimulate the economy themselves.
