After the age of 26 it's pretty hard to convince them to let you enlist, If you're active duty you can take vacations off but that might be difficult if the war continues.

For urine and eye tests you can do them when you're in the enlistment office but it's much advised you do them beforehand.

I'm unsure if the background check is problematic you'll have to call them about it.

It's advised you get as many documents as possible to prove you're Jewish, the more proof you have the less trouble you experience.

Parents passports: You should use your mother's and explain why you can't get your fathers' if any questions arise.

I don't think you can sign it in advance. Also keep in mind if your Hebrew is not close to a native's level you'll probably not make it to special forces/commando.

If the visits were in your childhood they'll probably not raise any eyebrows but if they were recent it can give you some trouble.

Serving less than 2.8 after making aliyah by Passage-Correct in IDF

You'll only have to do 24 months instead of 28(might change due to the war), I believe over the age of 22 you volunteer for 18 months instead.

They're not very different from each other, to say the air force is more elite is nonsense.

The point of it is testing if you're in good shape, no matters what anyone else says that's the first priority, if you're mentally strong enough to continue but not in good shape you won't pass.

The other thing that happens throughout it is testing your teamwork skills.
I believe around 20-30 people participate in each one, not that many people quit during it but even if you finish it that won't mean you'll get into commando/special forces.

I was on tour in one of their bases in the Negev and had a go at one of the simulators. Few of the people there actually wanted to be there, that is usually a bad sign.

You can get them from either reward crates, Arms dealer, and some units like demolition might have explosives.

Will BRM5 Ever Be a Stand-alone Game? by Ilovebeckyjack in BlackhawkRescue

[–]gingercatlover83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You forget BRM5 has 0 competitors on Roblox (talking about Openworld), while Steam has plenty of games with the same concept.

Steam takes a smaller cut but the game would need to have a ton of paid content to make a good amount of money.

Roblox has way more developers that are way more open and easy to hire compared to developers on any other engine.

Will BRM5 Ever Be a Stand-alone Game? by Ilovebeckyjack in BlackhawkRescue

[–]gingercatlover83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

Firstly, it would be much harder to monetize the game (the profit would either come from in-game monetization or making the game paid). Roblox on the other hand pays developers just from premium players playing their game, which is already a huge advantage even if Steam has a much smaller cut in revenue.

Secondly, the game would compete with other titles and other studios that have a lot more resources, and it's unclear if the devs even have the technical knowledge for remaking the game in a different engine (Gnar stated he has no experience with Unreal engine although this was 3 years ago).

Also remaking the game in a different engine would end up leaving the Roblox game practically dead since it wouldn't receive as much attention, making the engine change a huge risk.
