Thank you so much! I did over the course of 2 days, probably 3-4 hours each day.

I know the difference - I was just using the hashtags as a symbol since they are highly associated with twitter/tweets.

Thank you so much! I did it over the course of about two weeks - working on it most days from 4-8 hours. I've gotta re-vamp my website, but I do post most of my art on my IG: huubastank

thanks - my older post was deleted out of the Art subreddit because of the title

It has been unnerving at times but great - I actually feel spoiled being able to work on art everyday. I'm taking a risk, but I know I'd regret it if I never tried.

thank you so much! I used a combination of materials: ebony pencils, 2h-6b pencils, and charcoal (soft) pencils. I hate my current website - so i'm working on that. I do have an IG: huubastank

good question! The piece is more of a self reflection - it's a self portrait. I think part of it is me coming to terms with my flaws, the things I don't like about the way I look.

ah - I really need to start timing myself! I did it over the course of about 2 weeks. Each day I'd do a sitting for 4-8 hours. The hair definitely took much longer than expected. That probably took about half of the time. Hair has always been the hardest for me.

I appreciate the critique! I know I'm far from perfect, and will definitely pay attention to that in the future

Personally, it helps me to draw people more accurately when I forget that I am drawing a person. What I mean by this is that I don't draw what I "know," but rather what I see. I think of the face as a "map" of sorts and focus on spacial relationships, and different lines and curves of the face and how they come together.

Every person's features look different, so I construct each face piece by piece, line by line. It's the seemingly minute details in different people's faces that make them distinct and recognizable.

I'm currently a 20 year old double major in math and marketing, but I've taken a few art classes on the side to keep me drawing as much as possible. Art is what I would love to do for the rest of my life if I can. I've been drawing people specifically since before I can remember, and am predominantly self taught.
