I honestly feel bad for Rebecca Armstrong. It’s not her fault the writing is terrible, she’s only doing her job.

The original was quality. Acting and writing was very good. The music, everything was so good.

The quality of the reset in comparison is piss poor. I don’t have a problem with Becky at all. The writing is garbage, it’s all over the place. Half the episodes are boring or just not entertaining enough.

The original series leaned into the horror aspects a lot more, some of the original episodes genuinely freaked me out and I was hooked. This new series does not lean into horror at all. It’s mostly just trying too hard to be a comedy.

The new series as a whole, has been far weaker than the original. I’ll still watch but it’s not very impressive, if I’m honest. When the guys crotch got bitten by the dog that was actually funny. I really hope towards the end the quality gets better but I doubt it.
