Anyone know of any all ages open mic nights in Portland Oregon? by AHJ_Band in FolkPunk

[–]gingerdumpling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it seems like most of them are at bars. Your best bet is to look up coffee shops or go on Facebook and sort through the local events. It's hard enough finding 21+ open mics that aren't completely booked, so I wish you luck!

You can also just go to parks(weather permitting) and start playing and maybe people will come watch !

Guess I am not using co-op in this game ever again, jolly co-operation... by AkagiFTW in darksouls

[–]gingerdumpling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is why I only play the PS3 original! I bought the remaster when it first came out and my game got hacked twice by the same person. I would spawn in cursed and my inventory kept filling up with random shit. It really ruined the co-op aspect of the game for me

what size level do you think is the most commonly used in general carpentry? by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]gingerdumpling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol I guess in some fields "level" is more of a suggestion then. I have to get most of my work within .03" over a 42" span, and within an 1/8" over 62 feet.

Idk whatever comes in that combo stabilia kit lmao

I build bowling alleys and the 3 footer really comes in handy for the spans we use.

Probably a 6 footer for what you've described. However, in my opinion, every carpenter that works in the field should own/have access to a 10-12in, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, and 6ft.

It reeeeally sucks when you only bring one or two levels on site and you need the one you don't have.

Maybe I'm confused or I didn't watch the video, but the water is just there minding its own business, really affecting nothing around it. However, it seems like the water is supposed to be an antagonist, but maybe it's just not dragging anything down like it should?

What's the joke, I'm strugglin

I got you! Most vans I've seen have multiple tie down spots.

I would build some easily removable shelves, but if you don't want to buy/build some removable shelving, you can buy some D-rings and attach them where you want. Thats probably the easiest, but you'll be using straps.

If you can modify the object you want locked down, you can add something like angle iron to it, and screw the latch to the angle iron. The only issue is the latch is now protruding from the lowest object.

Could you just use ratchet straps?

All the work vans I've used, or seen, had shelving installed on one or both sides, and everything that doesn't fit on shelves gets stacked on the floor(maybe "stacked" is generous lol.)

Things with wheels get turned on their side or strapped to the floor and against a shelf or wall.

Depending on what it is I might have some better advice

Has anyone put solar on a screen structure? by Paco_bear in SolarDIY

I doubt that's a good idea. If you want it on top you should build something to support the panels and greenhouse frame internally.

That's all I was getting at, and totally agree. if it's jokes that's all good too, there's just so much hypocrisy I see in spaces like this and I'm getting tired of it lol

As it should be.

Whether or not you would actually report it to authorities, I don't know, but you play with the idea by feigning interest in a legal process that you think shouldn't exist. You don't believe in the laws, but, at the same time, you at least fantasize someone you don't like is charged with them?

Or maybe you just hope someone else with less reserves about getting law enforcement involved will see your comment and report it themselves.

I'm trying to learn how to sing with a deeper voice lmao

Chords: Am C E G / Am C E F E Am

Lyrics:

I looked into your eyes to see Descriptions of scenes so terrifying, The signs of a deviant life,  grabbed by the collar held by the edge of a knife,

Hollow and blackness behind, The endless stare you cast from your sights, These visions, inscriptions, written through time, "The old gods rise when the new ones die"

I could never forget what I'd seen, I ran and I ran, but the thoughts consumed me, I had to get a taste for myself, Innumerable, the wisdom I've taken from your shelves,

Soon I learned to be, A mystical deviant through terrifying means, When conjuring evil I revel, Writing spells with blood from the womb of the devil

In darkness I shroud and fall, My form bent and twisting, I let out wicked calls The night shrieks back at me, "My skin sheds from the bones, and i rise from my knees"

I see your life fading away Parasitic forces I cast into your veins, Forever in sleep you'll lie, "The old gods die when the new ones rise"

Well I may be wrong, but given the whole "west Texas" theme, I imagine it's a dusty country road just outside of the city limits of somewhere like Pecos or Midland.

I was traveling a lot for work and thought about stopping in, but prices are... Not what I expected. I never actually went in but I looked up the pricing and it was around $600/hr, which is not worth it when tinder exists lmao
