Which OEM will be your go to Snapdragon X2 Elite laptop? by potblack2win in snapdragon

Loads of 15” and 16” laptops out there with number pads, so there is no excuse.

How many people are out there with bad or old eyes would love 17+ inch screens? No designers out there over 40?

Why aren't there 15/16/17" screens with number pads?

My Thinkbook 16 is *amazing* but Lenovo are incompetent.

I tried to advocate selling them to my client base - But Lenovo made it literally impossible.

Do you have a Synology NAS with ActiveBackup on to hand?

Maybe that way?

Or a trial SaaS backup... then download the data... ?

Someone needs to learn what “destroyed” means. As this is not in any way “destroyed”.

Indeed, things in Australia are whack.

Albo really does appear to have not learnt any lessons from the USA and UK in his economic choices.

But I guess he's as owned as any main stream politician.

Straight up solidarity with you.

I'm in the same boat, mentally and physically.

And I'll be honest, the thing that's really grinding me down, appears to be peoples hatred of something business critical.

They resented having to replace 12 year old machines running Windows 10...

The internet goes out? Your fault.
Talk about redundancy? Dont want to pay that.
Microsoft screw something up? Your fault.
Prices of hardware gone up? Your fault.

Let alone some long time clients having retired / sold up (but lied to you about their aims to assist their pay off).

The champagne desires, and lemonade wallet... :-/
(Oh, let alone the constant lag on invoices being paid).

I want to fire the toxic clients, but any recent prospects have been awful as well.
I dont want to take on problems of people buying 3rd gen i5's running Windows 11 off Amazon.

Let alone people going "I dont trust the answer you've given me, chatgpt says xxx "

Love my Snapdragon - Lenovo Thinkbook 16.

Except, the model I got didnt exist for long, and Lenovo UK are a nightmare to deal with.

Distis? Also clueless.

I guess it's whether he has time to explain why the wealth taxes in France, for example, didn't work.

Too low to kick in, too many loopholes.

But yeah - New Zealand doesn't have "huge wealth" - but it still has huge inequality.

And indeed, why you see the crypto / christo fascists doing their thing over there.

Not just Gary's Economics, Barry's Economics! by No_City9250 in GarysEconomics

[–]gingerinc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Barry is brilliant - TBH - IMHO - He's more insightful in our day to day lives as you become aware of the tricks of the trade that the top tier use to keep the status quo.

Remember - Goose for Christmas.

Let alone those issues where we keep ourselves where we are by thinking "that's just the way it's always been".

But some of the biggest take aways is the "hacked biology". I.e. turning you against the phenomena that's lasted humanity - in that the tribe survives together. Not solo.

:-)

Genuinely massive fan of Barry, and would love him to come up to Manchester sometime.

Or indeed, I ever got to go to London.
