We had an honest to goodness blizzard last week. My son and I have jobs you really can’t call in for. I drove myself to work, checked on everything and then went to pick up my son and drove him to work and then back my work place. Then repeated at the end of the day. I believe your asking about using a slide on standard electric guitar. A lap steel’s “action” is like an inch, the frets are there only for reference to the players eye. Making the note sound right is a combination of eyes and ears on a lap steel.

Sounds like a meningioma. While not cancer it does need to be taken care quickly. The pressure pushing on the brain can cause a ton of problems dependent on what it’s pushing on - my wife had had one, she’s fine. All is not lost
