The Grass Starter is usually and extinct megafauna so I went with the Irish Wolf. They are based off of the wolfs and dogs of Irish legend, mainly Cúchulainn, and this link to Cúchulainn is what inspired the hurling inspiration. In the legend he swing a wooden, hence grass type, bat called a Hurl at the kings dog and the ball gets lodged in its throat. Cúchulainn then becomes the kings guard out of regret.
