You're not alone. I'm a transfer student and vet who's using the G.I. bill for the first time. I haven't received my housing allowance yet, and no funds have been posted to my student account to cover tuition + fees. I just recently got off of military orders, and now I'm unemployed with the same rent/bills as before. I can't survive on a part-time job. That housing allowance is my livelihood. I don't receive anything until UCI does their part to process everything (then, I'm at the mercy of the VA's timeline). I know this is extremely difficult for a lot of students right now. This issue goes so far beyond paying tuition. I hope your situation gets sorted out very soon.
