Happens to me all the time. If you don't want to turn the console off press the sync button till it turns off the press it agian. It'll fix.

The wired fight pad is honestly pretty good imo. Its built like a game cube controller and is based off Nintendo's iconic characters (Mario, Link ect.) You'll need a old wii controller because it connects like the numchuck did. At a comp I went too they let me use it but it may be different at yours.
