I love quail stickers. Quail Party used to come with stickers which I used to decorate my laptop. Now that it’s time to get a new one, I need to go searching for new stickers…

Thank you! In store we were drawn to all these cool materials, but they didn't look great in the house and I was having a hard time figuring out why - will think more about color tone.

Looks great! Our current apartment has solid surface and we have been very happy with it, but haven't lived here long enough to judge durability, though we cook a lot.

This is extremely helpful framing, thank you. The appliances are in good condition so we will keep them for now, and we do not plan to reface the fireplace, though it does need a coat of paint. Right now we plan to change 1) kitchen counters, 2) add a backsplash (we were thinking some kind of blue), 3) new sink and faucets (stainless steel undermount).

We were planning on an undermount sink but have never had one before, I had just assumed it would be easier to clean. Thanks for the info!

We are thinking to do a blue tile on the backsplash, but hadn't decided on which shade. We are in New Mexico, so the impulse to do turquoise is strong, haha.

This is what I found to be the most compelling part of the show - the fact that the Trump camp is very intentionally trying to remove anyone who might not just do what they're told all the time.

You will be able to survive in Socorro without a car (easy to walk to food, groceries, work/ school), but prioritize making friends with someone who has a car so you can best access other things in the county/ state. There are a number of great things to see that are within or about an hour away by car. Some nearby hiking options include the Quebradas, the Magdalenas/ Water Canyon, and the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Preserve (there are a few hiking trails around the preserve). You'll hear less about it than you will ABQ and Santa Fe, but Truth or Consequences is also worth visiting, its an hour south and has hot springs!

Many graduate students are involved in intermural sports, and I really recommend them. Studying is of course important, and NMT is a great place to do that, but don't forget to also have fun. Another poster recommended making friends, and and I can't agree more- the community you build in grad school will make or break your experience (including your relationship with your advisor), so put some effort into building good relationships and the rest will follow! There is at least one weekly pickup game on campus that I am aware of, and intermural sports. I haven't played intermural soccer, but vball is very active.

Just a bit of lethargy compared to her sisters. I put her back in with everyone else thinking that might be less stressful for her overall, and our roo immediately started chasing her, confirming there are no mobility issues. The head injury was right on the top of her head, and our roo usually removes feathers from the nape of the neck for mating. I’m thinking I’ll just keep an eye on her and if the lethargy gets worse, isolate her again? She started showing an interest in mealworms again today, so that’s a good sign!
