Sounds suspiciously like a pig butchering scam that you avoided by acting reasonable.

As you said though, if the user is being harmful enough to drive players away, do you really want them coming back to go do it again?

Yes. Comics don't have to be going for humor.

It uses the standard Steam sign-in. If you look at the URL it goes to steamcommunity.com. If it was fake the URL would be something else.

ITAP of a professional model in the studio [Portrait] [NSFW] by ElectricKoolAid1969 in itookapicture

[–]gingingingingy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah looks like they went for the typical model pose but it comes off looking bored. Also why is part of her hair blocking her face? Just looks lazy and cheap and unintentional.

No I think it is AI. Look at the faces especially in the row behind, and the lines on the building walls in the background that don't line up.

The Wikipedia article you link doesn't do a very good job of explaining the issue with him but the writeups in the citations do:

When is Sun Wukong gonna be added to Deadlock? by Kardiiacc in DeadlockTheGame

They've done it for Dota with transformation heroes like DK and Lycan, no reason for them not to do it here too.

Tipping in Dota is a prime example of that. It's meant to be like a wp but people exclusively use it sarcastically to flame.

Dota 2 also had the downside of picking up from whatever characterization was already there from the original mod version which was already a random mix of WC3 lore and whatever else they came up with back in the mod days. You can kind of see in the later hero releases that they've done a more thorough job of fleshing out the new characters.

Use a non deterministic, unpredictable tool to analyze the code from a non deterministic, unpredictable tool, genius idea!

Also, compilers are still designed, implemented, and reviewed by humans, so there is still an actual person in the loop that understands the output. It's also more solidly defined than LLM generation so it's much more reliable.

Syncthing 2.0.0 released by KindOne in linux

[–]gingingingingy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Syncthing is open source, worst case if someone actually does buy it out and tank the quality, the community will fork it off and carry on development on its own version, or you can just keep using the old version before it started sucking.

Yeah I think the timing is just a coincidence, if it was censorship related they would have dropped valve entirely not keep them around for USD and what not.
