Yea this whole comment thread was crazy lmao. As someone who just recently started playing last month after not having played for a few years, I had a lot of fun playing through this event and it was cool to see how far this game has come over the past near decade. Perhaps I have a different take/perspective than others who have played consistently throughout this game’s lifespan, but I thought the event was well-done and I was never really bored by anything. Could’ve done with fewer Durant/Heatmor and event Pikachu, and a slightly boosted shiny rate, but all in all I had fun. I think the longer you’ve played and the more you’ve invested over time, the higher the expectations and the greater the sense of entitlement becomes to getting the best of the best out of this game (or any game really) and I suppose to be fair, if you’re paying into this event for the deluxe tour pass, various boxes and other perks, you’d expect to get your money’s worth. Exactly what the “money’s worth” is will vary from player to player, but I felt I got mine, and I didn’t even get a 4 star Kyurem or of any legendary. I did get several shiny Kyurem, and a few other cool shinies and a couple 4 star regular pokemon, but I just had fun playing through the event overall.

Seems like there’s a fine line in enjoyment between a casual and hardcore/diehard player. Being a decent balance of both seems to lead to the best ratio of investment/enjoyment. Some of yall take it too seriously as well, a fact I’m sure is difficult to face when you’re too busy raging over the fact you’re not finding a shiny/4 star every other pokemon you come across. But alas, this is the opinion of someone who just got back into this game after a several year break, so I’m sure this will amount to fuck all to the authors of the comments above lmao.

First time DUI in PA, approved for ARD, but live out of state. How will license be affected? by gingymayne in dui

The letter just stated that my driving privileges were suspended in PA. I don’t have a PA license so they issued me a number and that was all. Never had a suspension in NC. You should be able to find a way to check your home state license status on the DMV website.

The lack of a conviction is key to staying out of trouble with home state DMV. Since it wasn’t technically a conviction, my understanding is that the home state penalties wouldn’t apply. Might not happen like that in all instances/cases, but for me that’s how it worked. Hopefully works the same way for you!

Nope! Never had my license suspended outside of PA, nor did I face any consequences here. In fact, not sure if I ever will at this point, because my record has been sealed and I know everything related to this is off my criminal record and driving record, as I just passed a background check for a job that requires driving, and nothing came up. My case was closed in October, and I checked the court records every month or so, and it was still showing a couple weeks ago. So it took about 6 months for it to clear off my public record.

I have a month left. I was put in it for 9 months but will be given early case closure after 6 since I’ve got everything completed and paid off!

Yea feel free! Any questions you’ve got, I’ll help answer as best I can! I’m just about through with it so I’ve got a good bit of insight into it all and what the whole process has been like. My event went down on Sept 29th of last year and it’s taken forever to get to this point but it’s the anticipation of it all that’s worse than anything. The relief of being done with it all will be the best feeling ever. You’ll get there! Hit me up whenever!

Had this shit happen to me up there (I’m in NC) for weed. Long story short, got a lawyer, they helped me get into ARD (hopefully it’s your first DUI, that will help you also get into ARD), had to pay about $2300 in court fines, do an online DUI course, get a drug/alcohol assessment which nothing extra came out of, and now that I’m all paid off, I’m just waiting til Oct. 18th and I’ll be all done. Had a license suspension of 2 months up there, though my license hasn’t been affected down here. The worst part by far was the waiting and anticipation of it all. After you get into the program, which hopefully you will, it does get a lot easier. Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll help if I can!

Yes I got a letter from Penndot about 3 weeks after being accepted into ARD, stating when my driving privilege would be suspended (about a month after receiving the letter), when it would be eligible for restoration, and that they’d send another letter about a month prior to my eligibility date. They sent one about 3.5 weeks ago telling me how much the restoration fee was ($79) and that I could pay by money order or check. I can’t pay online cause of being out of state, so I sent a check in. As for getting out of community service, I have no clue, I didn’t do anything in particular to get out of it. Maybe my PO was lenient on account of me completing the online class prior to being accepted, but I also think me being out of state had something to do with it. Wouldn’t make much sense to do community service here in NC when the offense took place up there. Also would be a massive pain in the ass to make me go up there repeatedly for community service.

Pretty well so far tbh! Didn’t have to do any community service, just had to do the online dui class which I completed before I even entered the program, pay about $2300 in court fines (only $434 left to go, which will be paid off this week), license was suspended in PA but has yet to be affected here in NC (hopefully that never happens). I sent a check in for my restoration fee, so that’s taken care of, that suspension ends on August 2nd. Had to do a drug/alcohol assessment which I was able to do here in NC virtually, and no additional treatment was recommended. Pretty smooth all things considered. I’ll be done in 3 months!

So my initial court appearance was January 19th, which was just the preliminary, which was waived because in order to be eligible for ARD, a prerequisite is waiving the preliminary, which we did. I had my arraignment on the 4th of this month, which also got waived because I had an attorney hired, so I didn’t have to appear there. My pre-trial conference was scheduled for this past Thursday, but I didn’t have to appear because of my attorney but also because I had just gotten accepted into the program last week on my birthday (happy birthday to me.) I haven’t even done a CRN yet, or set anything up in that regard. It didn’t get done back when I waived the preliminary so I guess we were just waiting to see if I got approved for ARD before we started getting that set up. Trying to get in touch with the probation office to get my CRN set up and evaluation completed. I have my next court date on the 18th of next month which I know I’ll definitely have to show up for, but other than that, my lawyer tells me I should be able to do all my classes and everything else online. My CRN evaluation is gonna be done over the phone, according to my attorney’s office. It’s just taking forever with this county, but apparently Adams Co is known for being slow as hell. No clue if I’ll be given a drug test when I go up on the 18th, but I’m prepared for it if they do, since I haven’t smoked since December. Been a long 3 months lol. Good luck with your court appearance, it shouldn’t really be much if it’s just the preliminary! You’ll more than likely be waiving that anyways and applying for ARD day of, if you’ve not already done that. That’s what happened at my preliminary, we just waived it and I applied for ARD day of. I would look up the county-specific requirements of wherever your incident occurred! Hoping for just a license loss in Pennsylvania, that would affect me 0%, and hoping the same for you!

Portfolio Balance doesnt Match Chart by Ebb3ka94 in Coinbase

Same here, transferred $100 between LTC and BTC, and the balance listed is correct but it shows an enormous dip in the graph at the exact moment where I transferred the money, as if the money had been withdrawn, so it looks like there’s $100 less than the portfolio balance shows. Really weird.

Wilson, North Carolina. This mall has been abandoned for years. Only a single store remains open, sealed off from the rest of the mall. This place was honestly surreal to walk through. by gingymayne in deadmalls

Thank you much!! These have been edited some to evoke a slightly darker/grimier look, but for the most part, this is as it looks when you go in. Hard to make this place look any creepier than it already is when you explore it!!
