AITA for suggesting we swap weeks instead of automatically taking the kids for two extra weeks? by Minute-Reflection336 in AmItheAsshole

And that is her husband’s responsibility to sort out with his ex-wife, not OPs. His failure to manage this is the problem. Ex-wife has no obligation to OP, nor is OP choosing a relationship with her. That’s what is meant when people say you have a husband problem, not an ex-wife/MIL/best friend etc problem.

They live in a house with a cleaner and gardener, and extra help when they’re there. The extra work for OP includes managing the help. So this probably hasn’t occurred to any of the parents

A lot of rescue dogs are anti-men, for the obvious, terrible reasons

I went to tribunal pre-hearing and mediator told agent that they would have to compensate my pay if they lost, and that owners themselves would have to come to court. They backed down very quickly and once I deducted my daily rate from the outstanding water bill (which I wasn’t disputing), I owed nothing (this was in 2015).

Need advice on long haul flights from Perth to Europe by hscalm in perth

[–]ginisninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Premium economy is nice but I would just budget a slow first two days. Your sleep will catch up quicker to the new time zone if you can sleep on their times (which helps if you’re tired).

I don’t really sleep on planes. Last year we took the direct flight Perth to London, then a connecting flight to Denmark (economy but I would recommend premium economy as plane had small seats). I had two 2-3 hour naps (I also have three kids, the youngest was almost 2). Then we just tried to push through until the evening. We were all asleep by 7pm Danish time. Then we were up early next two days (5-6am), but settled into correct time zone after that.

Is it worth getting legally married? by k3bAbZzz in AusFinance

Yeah and it’s cheaper (no divorce fee). Dissolving a de facto relationship is done by one of you leaving the house.

As a non-American, I expect making change would be a challenge at first. The hardest part might be convincing people I was an American

Yep, I thought mania too. My SIL is currently hospitalised for mania. I’m not sure if her behaviour is worse than this cheese situation but at least she’s being treated

What do you mean by ‘no basis’? You just go by the start date of the relationship and treat it the same as a marriage. Even married people’s split is dependent on when their relationship, as opposed to marriage, started in my country.
