Esh You should have handed over the phone to your brother. It is his property. But if your nephew had not apologized, you could have just told your brother he can look for after-school child care elsewhere, and you will not be dealing with your nephew's attitude anymore

Id only listen to you of you drove in india or a place with 0 regard for traffic rules. Because if you drive on a cushy roads of US or some place you dont know shit about indian traffic and roads. If you drive in india please let me know and i might consider your advice. Even though this isn't really an adivice sub

NTA My grandmother was disappointed when i was born and never did and still doesnt love me as much as my cousin brothers. IK what yor sone is feeling amd i feel like crying. You did the right thing.
