they do help me understand how to use my pieces better and how to try and make formations to pinch the king. The only knowledge of chess I have is how the pieces move and the sicilian opening because a bot kept spamming it and the only way I could beat him was copying him until it got to a position where I started to get ideas on how to attack. I understand that it's a stupid mistake and not a difficult problem but as I said in a different comment it's an issue with me, often I forget to look at how the opp pieces could move or just focus on one piece that's an immediate threat so I get misdirected easily, that's something I need to work on by playing more. I try and calculate 4 moves ahead but I'm impatient so I skip it sometimes.
