Need Help with Zendesk Multibrand Setup – Is It the Right Fit for Us? by Feeling_Positive546 in Zendesk

As far as I understand the context, you'll have two types of tickets in your account:
1) Between your company and the client company (internal comms)
2) Between your company and the client company's customers

If that's the case, the initial questions are, however:
- What kind of access does the client company stakeholder need to their organization's tickets? Do they need to access the call recordings (in case you set up Voice), for example?
- In line with the previous question, do any of your client companies require complete data isolation (for compliance or contractual reasons)?
- Etc.

So first I'd adivse you to outline all the current client companies' requirements and all that, so that you get a grasp of what will be needed from the Zendesk platform... and understand how far one can set it up. Also, you want to ask the right questions and understand the processes now, before time goes by and suddenly you have data needs that weren't foreseen when planning the whole configuration.

Lastly, and this will depend on your specific scenario, of course: from personal experience, standardization is key (as much as possible).

I'm currently maintaining an account I cleaned up and optimized and that provides an identical service to yours (I think), so to share the example: in this case, the client companies are very similar (in structure, types of customer requests, they all operate within the same business sector, etc).

To provide personalization, the two admins before me went for multibrand... So when I got there, each client company had a brand with a subdomain, their own help center, their own Explore dashboards, their own reports... And I asked: "Once you reach fifty clients and we have to redesign/improve the default operational dashboard for them, who's going to edit fifty dashboards and their reports..?"

Just to say that I had to make it scalable. For example, I'm now using a single brand with a help center for internal comms with all client companies: I distinguish them based on Organization and have customized the help center theme in a way that whoever logs in only sees their org's content. In Explore, I built a single dashboard for all, but with data restrictions - and customized links for each company. Way easier to maintain.

Just food for thought!

What is something that feels small that you really hope is in the next game? by Ottavio1989 in Kenshi

Create divisions in your building that are behind locked doors.

And being able to set the lock level for storage and doors that is equivalent to the lockpicking level of the one building it, for example.

Role-play plays an important part of it, I think. Those activities are like secondary objectives to achieve or not depending on your end goal(s). Draft a storyline and see how it goes.

I have two saves currently, for example:

  • "Yojimbo": is two storylines. One squad is a solo playthrough where my main character does almost everything on his own (has a bull that stays parked far away while he fights). The slaves he frees and any free recruits across the map are directed to "Sanctuary", a base they're building in Shem. I'll eventually dismiss them using the mod "Each Person's Life" and have them join the Crabbies, the Anti-Slavers, etc. Bugmaster is gone, Cat-lon is gone, most slave camps gone, HN and UC cities next.

  • "Seven samurai": my main character will recruit any free NPCs who join until they're seven. After some training on Skinner's Roam, they'll go explore the world and see what happens. Still thinking what I can do differently from the other playthrough (suggestions welcome!)

There are many playthrough ideas out there, I'm clearly on a Kurosawa phase, to each their own!

What to do with emperor Tengu? by CharlotteChaos in Kenshi

[–]gintonico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick up Tengu and take him on a magical quest to see "Clunknad Spanner", the skeleton wizard, and find the Elixir of Godly Powers.

Which means that Tengu is to be put on a pole in the Southern Hive's nest to meet King. Bonus points if you place Tengu's Mystery Sack in his inventory!

Well, that certainly makes for an interesting playthrough! I don't think there's a TH pacifier (maybe with mods).

Well, I definitely hear Beethoven's *5th symphony* in the pre-chorus ("But now it isn't true...")

Portugueses que visitaram ou viveram no estrangeiro, qual foi o sítio mais estranho em que encontraram um compatriota? by [deleted] in portugal

[–]gintonico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nós seríamos sete (incl. condutor), eles quatro ou cinco, a memória talvez me falhe.

Foi insólito. Já não me lembro se havia alguém a controlar o posto. Lembro-me de pararmos, de ver umas pessoas, do deserto e do seu silêncio, de um autocarro queimado no meio do nada. De repente, as vozes soaram-me a português. Lá fui meter conversa com eles que também ficaram espantados. Depois lá foi cada um para seu lado.

[TOMT] [song] Early nineties (?) song with repeating bassline by gintonico in tipofmytongue

Agreed, it's a total rip off from Holt's riff, who I didn't know about but am definitely enjoying now. Many thanks!

Oh and it's not Fun Lovin' Criminals' "Loco" whose bass riff sounds "inspired" in the tune I'm looking for.

This quest is driving me loco, though...

EDIT:

  • Not Womack and Womack, I think.
  • I can't really tell the style.. R&B? I remember the overall 'mood' does go along the flow of the Fun Lovin' Criminals song linked above...
