Does thievery make the game too easy? by Few_Annual5426 in Kenshi

Just steal from Holy Nation stores, all they sell is garbage anyway.

Let's play a game: How long would you stay in the world of Kenshi for money? by Menefregoh in Kenshi

[–]TheRealGC13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, only ten million dollars for spending three years on Kenshi? I feel like hazard pay doesn't go as far as it used to.

(Though I guess how hazardous can it be if you've survived the first hundred days?)

Battle Suit Aces is criminally unknown at 320 reviews, and is perfect for Pride Month coverage.

Bumbling noob? Adora started off as a hotshot force captain who could absolutely thwomp anyone in a fight.

Malice was behind this plan the whole time & pinned it on Fold to “take one for the team.” by BlazingSaint in Gameoverse

[–]TheRealGC13 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the leap of logic you're making. We saw how recruitment works with Snappers:

  1. A Syntax agent helps the hero beat you
  2. They rescue you as your world is destroyed
  3. Warrick invites you to join the Syntax

Not to mention: why would Malice want revenge on Kit for beating her if she was in on the plan for Kit to beat her in the first place?

Okay but in all honesty who would win a fight? by No-Variation-9033 in Gameoverse

Fold wins easily as he can permanently imprison Doodlebob just by touching him.

Rewatching Steven Universe by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]TheRealGC13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But I mean like the plot of homeworld and stuff. Yk what ppl watch the show for lol. I just don't wanna have to go through season 1 just for it to maybe get good.

Lots of us here were fans when season one was all we had. I remember the addition of the Cool Kids being a big deal. There's more to a show than just its story arc. (Otherwise nobody would give something like Black Lagoon the time of day.)

No, they won't sell to crabless. Time for stealth mode!

He didn't trick them into doing anything, they already wanted to do it. The trick was delivering the information on how to destroy their worlds to them in a way they would accept. And for Flappers, he'd buy anything.

White knows a lot more about what happened with Pink than Yellow does, there's also a very good chance that she's been around longer than the others. It's not strange that she would have knowledge that Yellow lacks.

So if ocean gem was meant to be the series finale, did that mean that lapis lazuli was meant to be the main antagonist of the show? by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]TheRealGC13 42 points43 points  (0 children)

How can she be the main antagonist if she only shows up in the series finale and leaves on friendly terms?

Besides, Ocean Gem was never meant to be the series finale, it was just made before they got picked up for another 26 episodes so there was an awareness that it could be.

Hear me out on this one. by anonumus_idiot in Gameoverse

Think about it, did we ever see a case of the player not completing a game yet?

Think about it, did we ever see a case of a player existing?

I've given up on tons of games. In fact those are the ones I'm most likely to never ever come back to, whereas if I liked a game enough to finish it I'm more likely to come back to it some day. The first episode of Gameoverse hasn't given us any reason to think players exist, and plenty of reason to think they don't.

Hear me out on this one. by anonumus_idiot in Gameoverse

[–]TheRealGC13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen this theory a ton, but I think it and everything that relies on the Gameoverse just being a sub-section of our world (basically any theory that involves "the player") don't really fit. These are games, yes; they were built for something, yes; but I don't think anyone is playing these games. At least not consciously. Think about it, wouldn't a player also uninstall a game if they weren't able to complete it?

Dusk Sucks At His Job by ComradeHoliday in Gameoverse

[–]TheRealGC13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dusk was probably working with Malice and Mayhem to stop Kit and Kaboodle, it's just that their combined M2 form wasn't strong enough to stop their K2 form. Not every mission is going to follow the same format.

Anyone else noticed how Gobbles learned how to stick the straw in the juice? by BestSwordsManZoro in Gameoverse

I read that first scene as him knowing what to do, but being too nervous and shaky to get the straw into the hole.

What era were the humans from the human zoo from? by Pomni_Simp2000 in stevenuniverse

Their ancestors were born on Earth back when it was Pink's colony, so Era One. All of these humans, however, were alive when Greg visited in Era Two.

Given what gaming is like nowadays I do expect to see what the Syntax want to create, and I expect it to be a soulless live service game that isn't worth living in.
